Dennis Hopper was an amazing actor. My personal favorite was his role as Frank Booth in Blue Velvet, he was terrifying, hilarious, disturbing and to me a tragic figure.
His performance changed my life and made me love movies more than I ever thought I could. Rest in peace.
my mother died of cancer when i was 8, and Dennis has always been one of my favorite actors.... I'm a grown man now, and its hard for me to watch this without tearing up.... I hate seeing people suffer from this terrible disease, especially a legend like Hopper. Rest in peace.

A ton of nobodies, half-talents, and trendy movie stars have received this honor over the decades. Dennis Hopper deserves this honor much more than half of the stars on that walkway.
