they are great, but they weren't famous because there were only one Gund and roses, so industry had to shot down of these two bands,,,unfortunately it was LA guns....
its similar cause traci guns(founder of this band and gnr) wrote that lick, and therefore, used it! lots of the first album of appetite for destruction Traci wrote bits and stuff and when he left, they kept it!

They gave me hell at airport security for wearing them, too. So they took them from me to see if they could take them apart. then some dude comes and asks why I would wear such boots. I said I was in a rock band. They gave back the boots and let go, with a reprimand to dress more conservative when flying the airlines.
