Wonderful movie but wrong choice of music which seems to imply this is a love film. Proof is about trust, truth, dealing with vulnerability and the fear of betrayal and getting hurt. For the most part, Celia plays psychological games with Martin because she wants to control him emotionally and Martin rejects every advance Celia makes so that he doesn't give her the opportunity to pity him for being blind. Martin even refers to Celia as 'vile' and 'like a rare disease' during the film.

LOVE this film. It's bloody brilliant ... one of the best roles I've ever seen Hugo in. He was hilarious and heart-wrenching.

you're ruined it... the original soundtrack by Not Drowning, Waving was a superb. This music is sickly sweet and overproduced and insincere. You really have completely ruined it with this overly sentimental saccharine rubbish. It's making me gag. Hang your head in shame.

Thank you for this! You've perfectly captured their dilemma, good editing, the song went excellently with the story. Very tastefully done. As an aside, Proof has always been one of my favorite films. My best friend lost her vision when she was young, and she said Proof was the only movie she had ever seen that captured best the psychology of blindness. Wonderful story, great actors, cinematography, art direction, and soundtrack.
