My favorite would definitely be Ruigi Yang, she looks like she's enjoying what she's doing and her technique is very nice, even though it looks that she made a little mistake at the end of her double pirouette. All of these dancers show a lot of talent, it must have been hard choosing the winners!! :)
you know, yang has an amazing technique absolutely adorable but... caitlin may seem a bit stiff in her upper body sometimes and she doesn't show off with throwing her legs on her head... but she's so musical! it's not that she dances to background music, she dances WITH the music. and that's real dancing! it's sad, but it seems to me that today it's all about being technically the best and they forget that u gotta feel it. that's a real dancer to me.
poor marcelino you could just see in his face how absolutely terrified he was :( he's a spectacular dancer from all the videos ive seen... his dancing was still fantastic but his facial expressions were nervous looking and his dancing wasnt as light and free as usual.
Yang Ruiqi has improved sooo much! It's such a pity she didn't win. I don't think its fair girls have to compete with boys. For one, boys don't wreck their feet by going on pointe. YANG RUIQI 千万不能放弃!!!继续坚持的人未来一定会成功的!!!
I think that Caitlin, the first girl, is ready to be in a company. Her presentation is so musical and quite mature and she displays wonderful stage presence already.
@kdub10009 however her technique isn' at the standard of a professional in this video, some landings from turns aren't the greatest. I'm not saying i could do better, but i think from this video she still has a bit to improve on.
