  • you dont have to pull the clutch to shift?

  • @curtmastor No, its called clutchless shifting. I normally pull in the clutch when upshifting but you can simply tap the shift lever and it'll kick into the next gear. The feeling is kind of hard to describe. I usually don't shift like that because the bike sometimes "jerks forward". Not violent enough to throw you off the bike but enough to make me feel a little uncomfortable.

  • dear santa.

  • reviso que entren todos los cambios y los juegos libres del embrague!

  • Specs of bikes please.

  • melhor das melhores !!!!!

  • que ace el mecanico ese con la moto de perosa alguien sabe???????????? un saludo BDN

  • how tall is his bike?

  • right v5 are no longer allowed they used v4 bigger displacement

  • V5 and only available for repsol honda's

  • @beastfromtheeast94 you'd be thinking wrong then buddy :-) they are v4

  • ducati sounds the best

  • I'm so getting a repsol Honda in 4 years

  • I wish that was my job.

  • @latchyj Its funny because I actually go to at least 2 MotoGP races a year and the Honda bikes have always sounded the best to me. The Ducati's are usually the loudest, but the Hondas have always been great sounding. I actually think that the LCR Hondas sound the very best, but thats just because they had different exhaust vendors then the factory Honda team.

  • IS the RC212 a V5, I4, or V4?

  • Comment removed

  • @Qnickel27 v4

  • @pussywussy5 i think there inline 4's buddy

  • ugliest bike in motogp!

  • @2StrokeRacing your opinion is wrong, this is not the ugliest moto gp bike at all, far from it.

  • @superpoluha1 which one is uglier?

of course it is, Hondas are alwayst the uglyst bikes.

I can say this because i am owning a Honda.

  • @2StrokeRacing You look ugly on it. Don't be jealous.

  • they can shit up without touching the clutch? pretty cool

  • @davidtheking341 nothing special... u can shift up every motorcycle without clutching...

    especially racingbikes come with quickshifters

  • @Bosbachos yes but if you fail:) you need a circuit breaker to do that easily if i would be that stupid to my 748...oh my god

  • Gotta love the sound of the Honda race machine!

  • the power of V5 engine.

  • @lowgonn EPIC FAIL

  • @BARRON120 lol. and why is that?

  • @lowgonn Honda never build a V5 in the 800cc competition. It started with a V4 in 2006 and it still is a V4.

  • @BARRON120: Right, it was introducted at the end of 2006, the first MotoGP season was in 2007. But the more interesting question is: What is going to happen in 2012 and the new 1000cc engines? Maybe they are going back to the V5-concept, which was the most dominant engine/bike in the 990cc era (with an incredible sound).

  • @BARRON120: Bye, bye V5 :-( ... motogp.com/en/news/2009/FIM+announcement+for+2012+MotoGP

  • Also did at any point did any of the moto gp bikes sound like a typical inline 4??????,y know after the 4 stroke rule waas introduced or did they they always have the v engine sound?I know ducati and honda s engines were always the v config engines i m talkin bout suzuki, yam and kawi...

  • So when u upshift u dont use the clutch huh?

  • it's like stevie wonder singing

  • Wonderful sound

  • i want to see that stand fall so bad...

  • @latchyj noooo! DUCATI is the best sound!

  • is it 2 or 4 stroke ????

  • @r3dgillyrunner 4 stroke

  • I meant 2012.

  • These are 800cc bikes. I heard in 3012 they will move to the 1000cc bikes.

  • @autumnstang97 in 1002 years?Wow!!!!!!!!!!

  • these r 600 cc?????

  • I want one. it will be my bike to school XD

  • thats a damn beast!!!

  • how bad is to warm up a regular street bike like this? and wow nice colors.

  • @emilyarelyvictor this is a motogp engine.. if its not done like this it could break..

get all gears spining and lubricated, clutch facing cleaned before heat...'

    build oil pressure ..

doing this with any bike is better than simply turning it on

  • seems like they would make production bikes the same,

  • remember kids, im motogp the shifting is backwards on the bikes.

  • @saudikid all race bikes are like that, my track bike is like that, a must when ur racing.

  • @HRG86 Mat Mladin's isn't. He always used a standard shift pattern of 1 down 5 up.

  • @a2birdcage hm interesting, didnt know that...maybe thats why he lost to Spies lol jk

  • @saudikid The shifting can be set to a reverse pattern on almost any bike. A lot of my fellow friends/track day riders prefer a reverse shift pattern. It's actually what the rider prefers.

  • @saudikid for real?

  • @BeastFromTheEast94 Yep. Up is one gear down and vice versa. And they got a quickshifter.

  • @saudikid what do you mean?

  • @saudikid

    what do you mean "backwards"?

  • @mikeerfol Race gearbox....Street bikes shift like this 1st gear down 2-6 Are up. Race bikes shift 1-6 down then you move the shifter up to down shift.

  • @SHAUNSPICERCPU

and how do you downshift on street bikes?

  • @mikeerfol By pushing the shifter down with your left foot.

  • @SHAUNSPICERCPU

    thnx

  • @SHAUNSPICERCPU 1 gear up and 2-6 down ;)

  • @27364169 I thought i wrote that. Oops lol
