Glad to see that these are pumped out fast. As i don't watch Lost live (don't live in any major country) i was able to see the recap of the season start before episode 2. But this time i have no worries and i have already seen it.

I just hope that SeanieB doesn't fail behind because huge part of episodes is diminished if a a recap comes out two weeks after the episode has aired (another Lost is already out).

I think Greg was just trying to remind everyone that the people at LA X are about three years behind their "doppleganger" on the island. LA X is not really a flash sideways. It's actually a flash backwards by about three years.

If we're to believe these are two separate timelines, then it wouldn't matter where they are in contrast to each other. They are both independent of one another.

To The characters the future is unknown, to us the same thing applies, but these events have already happened.

An example of this is flash to 1977. The incident already happened, the events already unfolded, but to us + the characters the events are unknown to us. 1st time experiencing it.

It would matter where they were in contrast to each other if somehow they "caught up" with their other selves. Which, depending on which theories of time you subscribe to, could be impossible. But maybe it is possible somehow. Maybe the whispers are the characters past and present selves caught up to each other in the same time and place. I know I didn't say this in an understandable way. Anyone get what I mean?
