I think the concept of the trailer was a good idea, filming of the characters wasn't bad. Yea the voice over's need some work but personally I don't hold it against them. It was overall a good attempt. BTW, what's the music that starts at 1:18? I swear I've heard it before, maybe from a video game?

This is the result of too much motivation, too little talent, and only basic production and post skills. Clearly, the number of thumbs-down show that viewers are not idiots, and can easily smell student-grade projects...yet the producers cannot.

came further than my screenplay, and my project wasn't even

sci-fi, it's a WW1 movie with lots of crowd scenes, so budget...

Well, gfx are EXCELLENT. Kudos. Must have taken forever.

Music's pretty good and appropriate.

Story looks like it will need a fair amount of work. (Looks like a clone of a billion other sci-fi flix)

Voice-over, sorry, is pretty poor. Ask Frank Chavez. Man's got gravitas. And a fanbase.

Overall, yeah, at this stage it looks like a one-or-two-star film (that's five-star for nerds), but it has potential.

I like it. Try and keep you wide shots a little tighter especially when you are using a green screen. The space craft scenes are cool but you have to match the lighting a little better and change the voice over. Not that is isn't any good, it's just not right for what you want to portray. From a movie stand point, not too great, but from a indie production stand point, it's not bad. The visuals are actually much better than a lot of fan made works, although some parts are better than others.

Keep at it. Not my cup of tea, but I can tell a lot of work went into this.

To everybody else. Don't criticize unless you can do better. Modeling, texturing, animating, and compositing are not simple, "do when you want," things. 30sec clips can take months for a solo project.
