  • Ah, 240p. We meet again.

  • Rip Scott :( Hail Manowar!

  • aim for the trolls!

  • So which pixel is the orcs and which is the men?

  • @SoftcoreGames the pixels riding white objects are men and the pixels with elongated items ( spears ) are orcs.

  • I've got to fix my glasses.

Oh, wait... I don't have any glasses.

  • Wow. Should have known when I read Battle Hymn Lord of the Rings what would be playing. DUH! The one and true Battle Hymn. MANOWAR!

  • @Littlehands91 im not sure were talking about the same thing, but here a manowar is a type of jellyfish that only has one tentacle and is really annoying...

  • @SnowLepord Manowar is a metal band.

  • @SnowLepord you know that the jellyfish is named after a galley?

    greetings from germany

  • @Tarabas112 Vielen Dank! =)

  • @JustFlemishMe kein problem ;)

  • I am disappoint.

  • 24 pixels up, 18 across....did you record it on your toaster?

  • @t3hfuhr3r in my oven! :D

  • @t3hfuhr3r You know what they say... All toasters toast toast!

  • FOR ROHAN, FOR MIDDLE EARTH, AND FOR THE FREEDOM OF MANKIND!!!

  • check out Summoning, their music captures the essence of middle earth perfectly!

  • FOR SHIRE !

  • i like the Orcs more than the humans

  • Getting 3 kegs tomorrow, you know theres going to be alot of Manowar playing!!

  • 240p we meet again

  • Lotr is the best!

  • FOR FRODO!!

  • The book are just a small part of Tolkien's work. They are, however, much deeper than the movie. They are also a review of industrialization and standardization. The way how the ring is destroyed in the book is also indicative of Tolkien's spirit, and it is better than in the movie. Read one of Tolkien's book is not listening to a particular story, it is travelling in a complete new world.

  • attack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this song doesn't fit into the battle.

  • @cobs1130 I second that.

  • Arrows are for sissies!

    Ironforge forever!

  • this is used for a tupac song :D

  • FOR THE HORDE

  • @ninjasauceshadow FOR THE DEFIANTS

  • @ninjasauceshadow BLOOD AND THUNDER!!!!

  • @ninjasauceshadow LOK'TAR OGAR!

  • @ninjasauceshadow gtfo you troll! this is lotr not wow!

  • this music does not suit the movie...don't like it...

  • Да живее Manowar.

  • For teh horde?

  • And to think if the orcs had some decent length pikes they could've stopped that charge

  • @digvoldon they could neither, but they frontlines were weakened by fear

  • OPA O NIAN7 EINAI ANAMESA STA GOBLIN!!!!

    GIA SOU RE NIAN TRELIARI!!!!

  • CHAAAAAAAARGE...!!!

  • ...actually, he's already dead. Sorry.

  • HAIL MANOWAR!!!!! and long live to Tolkien, the creator of one of the most epic stories in the world

  • makes the hair on my skin goes up ;)

  • RIP Scott , fallen Brother. Beat those Drums of Doom with pride

  • Perfect match. But that quality is not good.

And let's kill the 144 people that don't like Manowar!

    KILL, KILL.

  • you know there were only about eleven real horses in this scene!!!

  • @theseekersring ya for the close up shots of the actors lol there were rlly 20 somethin' but a few had to leave because it was harvest season and bc it just got too hot

  • @AmoTodaLaMusica not in the trilogy. there are many more lotr books, (hobbit, silmarilion, etc) but those aren't part of the series that was made into movies.

  • fail.... what kind of hymn is this for LOTR? seriously doesn't even correspond with the fact that it's an EPIC battle scene.

  • @KaabiiGeiron get off pot you mad man

  • aza fasa bee gees

  • Rohan ROCKS!

  • thumbs DOWN if you think this is the worst scene ever

  • the men won i think, i havent seen it in a while

  • could have been a really awesome video but : - Bad quality for the images

    - Only the return of the king ! no helm's deep ! wtf !

  • When I was kid I used to watch these so much!!

  • @iFraser92, it wasnt a great line of movies. It was the greatest one ever made, and probably will be 'till they continue the serie (:

  • whoa...whoa......whoa

    THEY'RE GONNA' MAKE THE HOBBIT?!

  • This song should be the soundtrack to these scenes.

  • HAIL FROM HELLAS(GREECE)

  • They shouldn't make The Hobbit.. instead they should make The Silmarillion, which is about the first age... its battles are the most epic ones that middle earth has ever seen!

  • good video terrible song.

  • kinda nazi bullshit.

    nothing to do on youtube...

  • if they woukd start riding at 1:00 it would be awesome

  • hmm ... hello guys am writtin a fantasy novel rightnow , but i wonder if u guys

love to make the hero a girl ?? thumbs up plz !! if u agree

  • @Aornal Good plan. Have you read "The Deed of Paksenarrion?

  • @MLLamble yeah i knew it but i didnot read it , i just saw the cover wich had

    a knight women xD ...

sorry 4 the late comment .......

  • @Aornal yeah i'm trying to do the same but i don't know what sexuality to make her.

  • @luffyjam u can make she with great power , but not a kinght xD

hmm .. for me i think ill make her witch , but am not sure ...

  • @Aornal We would needa know the storyline.. Sure all me care you could make it a blind chipmunk..

  • @Aornal I'm writing a fanfic on Lotr/CoN, and the most important character is a girl too! That's original of you! Way to go!

  • @JustFlemishMe

Make the anti-hero a girl. And make her win.

  • @joemck74 I make her win, don't worry =) But it does help that the oldest of her brothers commands an army =)

And she starts innocent enough, but after her father, a friend of hers and the younger of the adoptive brother are killed, she goes around killing enemy foot soldiers. And what to make of the girl who will (a lot later) become her (double) sister-in-law? She's 12, and yet accompanies her brother into battle - and she's effective as well. Enough agression to make them antiheroes? =)

  • @Aornal No.

  • @Aornal well the heroes in my stories are either women or dark, brooding men (don't know why I make them dark...hrrm...). They (both sexes) always tend to be gaunt, intellectual, slightly mad, full of love and passion...but also have to fight eternal demons. Nothing to do with my personal psychology: I live in a happy small farming town!

  • @Aornal what will the novels name be?

  • @Aornal Give her really big boobs and let someone make illustrations.

  • @Aornal all the main characters i make are women....uhm just throwing that out there no reason i guess just to let u know ur not the only one who likes female heroes

  • @Aornal GO SAMUS!!

  • @Aornal hermaphrodite, that way everyone is happy

  • @Aornal The Problem is if its a long story about a year or even a month eventually she would have her period and that could get a little hectic

  • @Aornal hows the novel coming?

  • @Aornal How are you writing a novel and not know the gender of your main protagonist? And why are you leaving it to youtubers to decide? And definately make it a girl. Make her kick ass.

  • i watched lotr like 10 times each part :)))

  • J.R.R Tolkien wrote so many good books.

They could make a film out of them like Silmarillion and those kinda of books.

    Hail from Portugal!

  • @kngpk3r88AkATrecko88 They could NOT make a movie from the Silmarillon. I loved the LOTR and hobbit books but the Silmarillion was a load of crap.

  • @stormer55 The Silmarillion takes place in far too long a time period to make into any movie series without going for like 15 movies.

  • @Zxceelxuz Its not just the length of time though... I tried reading it, not good. I dont think a movie could ever do well. I think some of the other books he wrote might... but i personally don't think they should or will. Th fanbase for the other isnt large enough.

  • @iFraser92 The Hobbit is the prequel to The Lord Of The Rings and it is being made into a two part film at the moment and the first part is due to come out in 2012.

  • Drums are amazing, really feel like war drums.

Great song wish i heard it earlier

  • Tolkiens still writes books about middle earth

  • @templar01100 hes dead.

  • @sukhdeep6312117 Hey Sukhdeep! Is your last name Mann? I know that is totally random lol.

  • @sukhdeep6312117 meant to write his son still writes books about middle earth

  • @templar01100 Tolkein has been deceased for quite some time, the books that keep coming out are all based on his notes. he wrote pretty much the whole history of middle earth up to the end of LotR.

  • LOTR IS THE BEST MOVIE IN ITS GENRE

AND MANOWAR THE BEST METAL BAND

... and whoever thinks something else or says something else

    DIE

  • pero k musica os flipais

  • Yes, the Hobbit will probably be out 2011 or 2012. I can not wait!

ps: Lord of the Rings is a masterpiece ! :)

  • @Alina2731 Hobbit: Part 1 will be out 2012 according to IMDb. :)

  • @Harja7 Ah, okay :)

    Thank you :)

  • Absolutly great, this is only metal song that I love. brilliant work:D:D

  • Great line of movies, but a whole better line of books. I recommend the LOTR books to everyone, if u seen the movies already and u didnt read the books (which is most probable) u will se how much of the LOTR is missing in the movies.

  • @Bebechzkomodo movies missed out loads of the stuff in the books

  • @Bebechzkomodo personally i think each lord of the rings movie should have been about 4 hours with an intermission halfway :D

you just cant fit over 1000 pages into a movie

  • @chooseit2 the films were all in all 4 hours long or there abouts but still, they missed out huge chunks of the book so you can get everything :P

  • yeah that song and that movie don't go together at all. The music in the movie goes PERFECTLY!!!

  • not very in keeping, thats an anthem, the proper lotr songs are symphonies... :L

  • Hail Manowar from Denmark! combination of my favorite band and favorite movie(s) (and books). nice job!!

  • i agree with ifraser92 like the part mace and chain in hand witch king - lol

  • omg thanks for wrecking this for me...i was hoping for the actual theme, and now, you wrecked the movie as well!

  • i like that song, its inspiring

  • epic. I only wish the quality was a bit better

  • Manowar - Battle Hymn

  • HAIL FROM BAVARIA

  • @MrPhilWhite Thx)

  • Does anybody know what is the name of the song in this video?

  • @LieJackOn

    Battle Hymn from Manowar

  • @LieJackOn battle hymn by manowar

  • listen to it, it´s one of the best bands in this world

  • @6hokagenarutokun

in The Hobbit the war of the 5 people will be seen

  • They are making a fourth instalment...its going to be The Hobbit though the first book. Peter jackson is a co producer...

  • Manowar is amazing, but not as good as Blind Guardian...Lord of the rings by Blind Guardian is fucking amazing.

  • @Maddolis Manowar is fucking amazing. They dont know our taste nor its greatness

  • @TROOPERofUSA You know it buddy.

  • @Maddolis fuck lady gaga

  • @vmaik04 ooops

  • @Maddolis

lol... I like both manowar and lotr (of course theyre different things) and theyre EPIC

  • @Maddolis 119 to be specific

  • wish LOTR continued further , i miss it :(

was a great line of movies wasn't it?

  • @iFraser92

    yea it was good

  • @iFraser92

definitley i like it a looooooooooot watched them like 4 times haha

  • actually in may 2011 its being released

  • @6hokagenarutokun

they are making that movie now or actually its going to be three and it will be about bilbo baggins so yes they will make a movie about the book ''the little hobbit'' (btw the first book of the LOTR saga, and the first book J.R.R tolkien wrote) actually i am kinda excited :D

  • @6hokagenarutokun

This war don't appear in The Hobbit.

  • @iFraser92 the best. ever

  • @iFraser92

i thought they make a "The Hobbit" movie or not?

  • @AustriaDictator they were but the director said he wasnt going to direct it anymore because of problems

  • @iFraser92 Yes it was ,it was the best movie ever, I bought the videos of the trilogy so now I can watch LOTR whenever I need to see it again. Cant wait to see the Hobbit when it comes out though, how about you?

  • @iFraser92

Actually it can't be really continued. i find it really hard tho ask mr. Tolkien to write the next ;-)

  • @iFraser92 Yes it was. But the more sequels there are, the worse it usually gets. Short and sweet is what's normally best.

  • @iFraser92 Read the book. It ends differently than the movie. The book is many times better than the movies.

  • @iFraser92 the best!

  • @iFraser92 if it went any further....i would of been depressed, the book series was amazing and LOTR is the gold standard for Fantasy novels and movies, but the ending was final and a really good ending at that.

  • @w0lf93 I think he means that he wishes that the amazing ness lasted longer :'(

  • @iFraser92 it definitely was, lets hope they make a hobbit-movie and that its just as amazing as the LOTR-ones!

  • @einblauesplektrum there's been at least one, maybe more. I'm not 100% certain

  • @iFraser92 If the books' battle descriptions are anything to go by, the battles of the First Age against Melkor were far more epic than those of the Third Age as depicted in Jackson's LOTR movies

  • @iFraser92 hell yeahhhh, the best line

  • @iFraser92 oh it was and it is brother!

  • @iFraser92 Its called literature Tolkein has quite a few books on Middle Earth

  • @rodog69

ITs just a shame Tolkein was a shitty writer. Its a good thing a very good director put together the movies.

  • @boonw WHAT! Get your facts straight kid. Tolkien HAD THE ENTIRE WORLD. Lord of the Rings was ALL made in one mind. Tolkien MADE UP AN ENTIRELY NEW LANGUAGE. Get a better fucking education on what a good and bad writer is. As for the director. HE WOULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS if not for Tolkien's MIND.

  • @AsianDamien

"Tolkien HAD THE ENTIRE WORLD. Lord of the Rings was ALL made in one mind"

That doesnt mean the books didnt suck. A lot of books do that.

"Tolkien MADE UP AN ENTIRELY NEW LANGUAGE"

Again, it doesnt mean that the books didnt suck. Not unique.

"Get a better fucking education on what a good and bad writer is"

A good writer advances the plot and focuses on character development. A bad one deviates from both of those for long tedious off topic stories that have no significance.

  • @AsianDamien

"HE WOULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS if not for Tolkien's MIND."

Which was the point I made in the original comment. The books suck, the movies are good. Its like the original fallout games, they suck to the high heavens, but then a company with talent bought the rights and made something awesome out of it. The quality of the movies and books are not correlated.

Hell, the only reason the books are remembered is because there was nothing else like them at the time.

  • @boonw So says he who has probably never read them from front to back. Your comment suggests that you like your entertainment in bite-size chunks which doesn't require you to sit through the bits that you find boring. The books are far more detailed and richer than the films which, albeit entertaining, do not convey the reasons for which Tolkien wrote the book. The film and radio adaptations that were made of it in his day rarely got his approval because they missed the point, as you have.

  • @TheMG63

"So says he who has probably never read them from front to back"

I read halfway through the trilogy before I said "fuck this, I am watching the movies and then reading harry potter"

"The books are far more detailed and richer than the films"

No, they just went off topic on random stories with no significance to the plot of characters. Just because Jackson realized that nobody wants to see Tom Bombadil, doesnt mean the films were lesser than the books.

Btw: did you see the extended?

  • @boonw No offense, but how would you know how significant these "random stories" are to the plot of the characters if you only read through half the trilogy?

  • @anidev96

Because these random stories that were mentioned out of nowhere and went on for several pages were never mentioned again in the book,or were specific for something in the region. example:I recall one time they were talking about some ruin they spent the night at.Instead of skipping to the important events, they went on for several pages about its history, the guy who built it,what he did there, and then sang a song about it.

Besides,I also asked someone who read the whole thing.

  • @boonw But IMHO, these stories are what form the backbone of the world that Tolkein envisioned. Without them, it is just another fantasy series. However, to me, and to I'm sure to many others, these stories make the series so much better than other fantasy series. In response to your comment about the movies selling more than the book, I think that happened because it requires much less effort of will and imagination to watch a movie than to read a book.

  • @boonw But of course I respect and understand your opinion about the books - I myself had a hard time occasionally reading them because of how incredibly detailed and long-winded they were, even though I enjoyed reading them immensely.

  • @boonw And no, I'm not getting into pointless arguments either. Just because you think the books suck doesn't mean that they do. You see, your own logic can work both ways. The book has sold in its millions - and did so long before the movies. Oh dear, seems that all those mere mortals who bought the book got it wrong. Yeah right! Still, there are those who think that Mozart was crap, that pavarotti couldn't sing, or that Laurence Olivier couldn't act - all based on personal opinion, not fact.

  • @TheMG63

"Just because you think the books suck doesn't mean that they do"

I am going to mostly agree with you here. Quality in literature is subjective, so no matter what you believe regarding if it is good or not, you are technically right..

"The book has sold in its millions - and did so long before the movies"

The movies sold more tickets and copies in months than the books sold in decades. RoK made 377 million and has a 94% on rotten tomatoes.

  • @iFraser92 They're going to make The Hobbit.

  • @iFraser92 read the books. it does continue

  • @iFraser92

It is, THEY'RE MAKING A GODDAMN HOBBIT MOVIE!

  • @itsaki24 its the story about bilbo's journey u nuubster >_>

  • @itsaki24 corection. made it. its called the serch for gollem. it was made after the movies with the same cast i think. but if your talking about the origional hobbit then ya u are corect
