Weren't they playing the first notes from a tune by Metallica before even it was created by Metallica???did anyone hear it?? i love minor swing and this vid is amazing..quite a couple of masters.
@londonbige thank you very much. that helps a lot. i noticed they were tuned high and for someone like me who can't really pick out chords spontaneously, i had trouble getting them down. thanks again, it's a very nice passage
@rahoo64 thank you rahoo. this music is beautiful. for me it is the guitar player's true music, more than blues. the chromatic notes, the jazzy chords make it so versatile. jazzy is the wrong term, do you have a better? thanks again
I couldn't agree more. Eric Clapton once said he wanted to learn jazz, but knew he would never put in the time to do so. "Jazz is the highest form of music - a true language."
I have been studying 'Gypsy Jazz' for several months now and it has become my favorite kind of music to play.

No wonder so many young artists become masters so early; great teaching. no wasting time on nonsense.

I'd love to go live somewhere like this for a couple of weeks and just play music all night with some true gypsies.

can someone tab the fucking chords of the intro after the scale? i suck at telling from my ear.
from what i can tell, they are playing F minor scale, then A#m chord, Fm chord
what are the 2 after????
thanks!
AdrianMutu87 1 year ago
@AdrianMutu87 its actually an E minor scale, then an F# chord, an F chord and an E minor 6/9 (0-2-2-0-2-2).
then its F9 and E9 which leads the chord progression of minor swing
they're tuned really sharp though^^

@AdrianMutu87 a few corrections on londonbige's chords. they're right but if you're looking for the exact chords.
F#7 (2-4-4-3-2-0) then FM7 (1-3-3-2-1-0) then the Em6/9 (0-x-5-4-2-2)
