  • 0:11 Is he sayiong toy or something else? It sounds like toy to me but I'm not sure...

  • @Twilight101cp "It's fun to see what happens from just a little toil!" =)

  • @blueoctopede Yeah I was thinking that to, but I wasn't sure if toil was a word LOL XD

  • @Twilight101cp Oh! I forgot it's got closed captioning, too! You can click the CC button at the bottom of the window to turn it on and off xD

  • I think this is my favorite TR song now! :D

  • After your little note, I played the two tapes, and it's VERY hard to tell a difference. The Day Teddy Met Grubby sounds only slightly higher pitched to me, so if they did speed it up, it wasn't very much.

  • isnt this song on the worlds of wonder promo video with all the hand puppets of wooly , the fob and tweeg and lb

  • @wizzwamf Yep!!

  • The Day Teddy Met Grubby- my mom's favorite story! Round roots? Those were potatoes!

  • @silverthehedgielover I did eat something after my above post and was satisfied. :)

  • I thought there were 3 such tapes made? Anyway, I remember reading one of the songs on the other tape was I'm An Octopede, from the Do Along Song Book, but I don't remember any of the others. I think maybe one with the grunges?

  • This song is making me hungry!

  • You wrote the song's text!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!

  • Oh.My.Fucking.God. This was from the first ever tape and book, from my first ever Teddy Ruxpin I received when I was 2 in 1998 (the YES! version). That's the closest I've ever been to being in a time machine, this video. Thank you! :D

  • One of my favourite songs!!!!!! :D :D :D

  • -Hey blue. Can you tell me where I might find a Teddy. My 3 year old watched one of your ids with me tonight and just fell in love with him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • @bchiles0123 That's so sweet! Teddy isn't being made any more, but there are plenty of people selling them on Ebay (you also might be able to find one at CostCo, if there's one near where you live). I would recommend getting the newest version of Teddy, which was made by Backpack Toys in 2006. He's more child-friendly than the version in my videos and uses plastic cartridges. My Teddy uses cassette tapes that a 3-year-old could potentially get tangled up in. Hope this helps! =)

  • I never heard of Teddy Ruxpin Greatest hits, what is that one about?

  • @UnknownFlyingPancake It's a collection of songs that were apparently the best in the series. There were two tapes made, a red one and a blue one, and I have the blue one. It has Come Dream With Me Tonight, Proud to be Me, Take A Good Look, Dig, My Friend, and Will You Go to Sleep Before I Do.

  • @blueoctopede I'm not sure what songs the red one has, but they're probably different.

  • @blueoctopede I saw online there was a Greatest Hits and beach ball someone was selling. They said it was originally part of a promotion and not sold in stores. Do you know what the promotion was?

  • @pika62221 The beach ball was packaged with the red Greatest Hits tape, but I'm not sure if it was a promotional item or not. That would make sense though, since the blue Greatest Hits tape is most common, and it *was* sold in stores (I believe it was packaged with a coloring book or something).

  • @blueoctopede you are awsoe im subiiing 2 times

  • @Toaster12000 Thank you so much!!! =D

  • @pika62221 I was for summer 1985. They where given as small prizes in promos and contests. There were all sorts of promos so you couldn't really tell ... BUT,if you find one for a good price GET IT !!! Here is an item number to an auction of one 270768796372 . I thing I might bid ...

  • I think this song is actually called Dig, at least I think it's called in the book that came with my BackPack Toys Teddy Ruxpin.

  • @Lachlant1984 Hmm... the only version of the book I have isn't the version with the title and lyrics written out, but now that you mention it Dig does make a bit more sense, so I'll go ahead and change it. Thanks for letting me know!

  • i love all your video's there so much fun. hey could you repair my teddy ruxpin how much do you charge. allso do you have a cricket or corky
