I've had the SCUD game for what seems like forever and I just beat it today! Great music and great gameplay. I've never read the comic book, though I'd like to, but there aren't any comic stores close enough near me that might have any of the back issues. I wonder if there's any sort of graphic novel compilation out there?
@Masterchickens Yeah, Rob Schrab release the entire 24 issues in one big trade paperback about a year ago you can find it at most book stores and on amazon. It's called "Scud the Disposable Assassin: The Whole Shebang"
i remmeber i had all the books back in the 90's but lost them in a house fire (saddest day of my life) does anyone know where i can buy the collectiongs of the original scud series 1-20? and the tales from the vending machine series?
I know currently there is a short animation film in the works by Neuropolis based on Scud but from watching this vid I want to know if MTV was going to make an animated series based on the comic books long before the other project started. And no offense to Neuropolis but the MTV animation resembles more of the comic because of its cel shaded graphics with the shading standing out more than the soft shiny look of the newer animation.
It was going to be an MTV show but it never materialized.
But yeah, I think the cel shading look is obviously closer to the comics but I'm trying to adapt mine to a more solid realish look. The shiny reflective car paint look of my Scud is an approximation of how I think he'd look in the real world.
Hey rob I would love to see a remake but as i can tell from your other vlogs tht your are totally hammered with work... too bad scud had too end... but hey all good things do right
Sorry Rob Ive should of Realize What Scud was When I was younger It was my Child hood game when it was released for the Saturn And it made my day for almost 4 years till I've out grown it But I never had the slightest idea it was based on a comic book I would love to See the Franchise Still alive it is by far one of the most interactive shooters in the game industry at the time let alone a Bizzar and Orginal Comic.
