@pombos007 : Ah, I see what you mean. They choos the anchoir point sidewards to the eye, then aim along the bands and with one fork end. So it is more aiming than instinctive. Plase take care, an anchoir point near the eye carries great risk when the bands break.
i am sorry i havent been specific enough. my main questions is whether or no the shooters aim the slingshot for this style or of they shoot instinctively and how they aim if they do so?
there is a strange style used by some german shooters, where they pull the rubber past their ears, they keep the slingshot to their eye level and they shoot like they shoot instictively. can you keep more detail about that style because i used one day(instictively) with great results (bottletop at ten metres 60%)
@pombos007 : This is called the "Albatros" or "Butterfly" style. It was used by Czech shooters first, but gained some popularity, esp. in Germany. You get a very high velocity with low draw weight, so this style of shooting is particulary interesting for long range shooting. If you want to see excellent albatros shooters, have a look at the youtube channels of 1611torsten, HippelU76 and GekoGr.
@arcosnewen Distance is 10 meters. Target on the left is 10cm diameter. Target on the right has plates from 12 to 4cm. We shot 2 rounds with 10 shots on each target.
Schade das ich keine Gelegenheit habe öfters 10 Meter zu üben. Man merkt das 4 Meter nicht so das ware ist sobald man raus geht und auf größere Distanz versucht.
Nice tournament!!!
