  • What's so great about the first 48 seconds? Good song, but I like their slow heavy stuff much better.

  • i heard 48 seconds of this song went out and bought all the jesu i could find jkb always delivers in epic ways

  • unstoppable

  • This is one of the best love letters to My Bloody Valentine I've ever heard. Broaderick captures the essence and intensity of Isn't Anything with his own heavy crush in a way that most poseur shoegaze indie bands never could.

  • i love them. thank u for uploadin'

  • I remember buying this in late 2006 and when this song came on, I shut off the disc and put it away. Lol, it took me 2 months to listen again, and its great. just the jump from Godflesh to "Star" was too much. But, I can honestly say "Silver" is an awesome disc

  • 4:00 on. brilliant.

  • Jesu's Silver EP + Sigur Ros' Heim / Hvart + The Late Cord's Lights from the Wheelhouse in the same walk while it's snowing = Perfect

  • @36LAF1214 just pictured it. wow.

  • 2.00 to 2 40 is amazing...its crazy to see justins progression from godflesh to this...he really puts emotion into his songs whether they are positive or negative that to me makes a true artist

  • This song always reminds me of Blink 182. Aside from that, it is a wonderful song. :P

  • @deadclownsociety uhhhhh... Are you daft? Or deaf?

  • @wasabi1787 I also feel the resemblance.

  • @frididjurhuus maybe its the drum riff

  • Justin Broadrick is one of the most insanely talented musicians I have heard. This song is just flat out incredible and the sound is SO huge and layered (on all of them, even Godflesh). He transcends all musical boundaries..

  • Waaay underappreciated!

  • At first listen to this I thought Conquerer was much better, but This Ep is just as good, maybe even better.

  • Second best song from this album, imo (:

    Jesu is perfect ^^

    Cheers to all ;b

  • @SnotBubbleNose

i agree... perfect.... they have no made a song i dont like.

  • nice!!

a lot of atmosphere to this song here.

i wish they would play that into part another four measures. i play the first 48 seconds of this song over and over and over. not to romanticize too much, but it really takes you where you want to go.

my favorite song from this album/ep.

    thanks for posting!

    cheers to all jesu fans!

  • cheers :)

  • I love love love love this album. Although the s/t album is still the best in my opinion, because it is more raw and in your face, this album has alot more mood and feel.. The dark ambient filled with catchy and poppy lyrics and melody. Jesu is all about SOUND. JKB is a genius.

  • Yes he is...

  • reminds me of highschool

  • Sorry, I meant tiny tears. It was a while until I realised that the tracklisting for that album is weird because of devastator/ mighty trust krusher being two tracks.

  • This immediately reminded me of wound by godflesh.

  • beauty...

  • GODFLESH should reunite !!!.

  • they are now called jesu

  • hell yes

  • ...my favourite song on the ep (dead eyes a very close second)...it just has a really beautiful bass harmonic progression underneath fuzzed up guitars...makes me want to have Justin's babies...

  • I can hear what you're talking about...sounds really good

  • I was travelling while listening to this unique song and i met this one fine chick and i got Laid, and yea this song is so awesome because was a Star to me :) !!!.

  • sweet, that is one cool experience hehe

  • @deneheat101 Awesome, That's how people should be living!

  • @oohoohmelikey well thats nice to know, but my experience was great especially travelling and meeting up with a nice fine chick and getting laid, and this song was on the stereo playing,so yea i guess everybody has a different outlook on this song! ;)

  • ....song about living a life with an endless "the end justifies the means" attitude.

Forgetting conscience, gaining easy power by living ruthlessly. A sacrifice.

Then you can be a star!

  • I love this whole EP. Very emotionally uplifting music. Star really reminds me of a freind who i fell in love who went of to univeristy for a better life and what could have been...

Keep pumping out those emotions Justin.
