  • i wont one

  • @tylerdurden666able Holy talk coming from a guy with 666 in his name. People like you make me laugh.

  • i don't give a shit what they are defending, i agree with you i would do the same if i was in their place, however i am not going to feel sorry for them and take a bullet so they can defend themselves so guess what they shoot at us we shoot back. that's how it works in war. believe me i am not going to see god but the devil will high 5 me for keeping hell filled with souls..... i'm good with that

  • @tankcommander33 I came onto this video thinking "cool I'll see another great guy fighting for our country". Sadly all I've seen is some guy who jokes about going to hell and killing people, and thinks war puts tax dollars to good use.

  • can't see a single palm tree.

  • Americans should not under estimate their enemies i know the americans are powerful but a couple of towel heads still held their position so many countries lost their battle o this towel heads with just a couple of ak's and rpgs

  • @AlfredDaSauce It's not the aks an rpgs. Its the IEDs. And they don't have uniform. So we can't kill them as quick like we did in the Gulf war

  • @McDogginified goodluck dude remember dont understimate your opponent be careful

  • @AlfredDaSauce historically asymmetric warfare has been a bitch for the larger force... and in a place like iraq, with many developed urban areas it makes the job even harder because now the conventional force has to account for 3 dimentions more often, expend more resources and so on... and with USAS options being limited, like no making peace or walling off iraq from the world or a few nuclear strikes to induce fear, you take away the only things that make it possible to win this type of war

  • the cannon is a Cannon, 105mm M68A1. This started its life as the L7 naval rifle (GB.) this cannon is mounted on M48A5, M60/A1/A3, XM1, M1 and M1IP.

  • Lot of little pieces down range..HELL YEAH!!!!

  • einstein looks like a pussy anyways so what hes smart who cares

  • @CTcombatengineer nice demo of the levels to which dumb can climb

  • Kill more snipers!

  • dammit I want to murder people too, too bad that in my shithole country our army is a joke that never sees any action - I can only hope for WWIII and full mobilization...

  • @Del249 The purpose is not murder you simpleton . . if there was a WWIII you'd be dead before your government even considers conscripting you.

  • @Clarkizh what? so the US army just visits their terrorist friends for a cup of tea or something? off course the purpose of war is murder, you are the simpleton here.

and I doubt WWIII would be over so fast. nukes are way too overrated, the fireball of the strongest nuke detonated so far (the "Tsar" bomb) was only 2.3 km in diameter. do you know how ridiculous number of nukes you would need to create a devastation of apocalyptic proportions?

  • @Del249 Go talk to a WWII vet if you think WW is fun like in CoD.

  • @Del249 Your an idiot.

  • The Stryker MGS.....also known as an abortion in a glad bag.

  • damn you guys sure put a lot of snipers in their places

  • Its both good and bad seeing the military taking such extreme measures to kill the enemy. Good because its saving soldier lives, but bad because its a huge waste of money and its also bad collateral damage.

  • what exactly do you do? and are the one thats holding the camera

  • Now let it be first understood that I am a god of War and of Vengeance. I shall deal hardly with them Also ye shall be strong in war I am the warrior Lord of the Forties: the Eighties cower before me, & are abased. I will bring you to victory & joy: I will be at your arms in battle & ye shall delight to slay. Success is your proof; courage is your armour; go on, go on, in my strength; & ye shall turn not back for any! -The Book of the Law III:3, 28, 46

  • @Trashfished Well said. Someday when all the pot smoke has cleared and these college kids have some kids of their own, Bush will been given his due credit.

  • here hows this for a quote, i lose no sleep when i lay waste, einstein was a pussy and every tank round that goes down range is a great use of tax dollars

  • em, not very good?

  • @tankcommander33 True, every 105mm mult-purpose HE round that goes downrange is the cheapest round you can get so it's a very efficent use of tax dollars when compared to expensive HEAT rounds with little blast area.

  • @tankcommander33 Hell Yes my friend, a warm hello from the British Army. What platform are you working on?

  • @tankcommander33 I dont think thats what Einstein means, he was an immigrant to America remember? he was all for freedom. Also he worked on the Manhattan project, I wouldn't call that your usual hippie peace parade.

  • @tankcommander33 Where were yal at, Mosul ? And do they let the 11B's drive that version of the stryker, or is that a tank crew on that? im 11B, I like the regular strykers, but that thing is to tanker'ish for my style. Ill take being dismounted, or Bradley. Gunner- HE- 2500M- Fire.

  • you should see me blow that shitbag to virgin heaven when he tried to shoot me out the back of his car, or the one that CCO blew out of the building. that what makes this deployment sssooooo good

  • Ok.

you should see this on my channel:

  • danm right man, are u military?

and what fun is war if ur not airborne!!!!

well for a few atleast. lol

its never fun to let the airforce do all the work, thats why we spooks get to have all the fun, or are u regular infantry?

  • hoooah!! get some!..

  • FUCK i cant wait to join the army

  • well stay the fuck down if ur taking out snipers

  • cool video thanks for the upload, and thanks for serving our country and fighting over there.

  • its not a abrams the cannon is from the m1 series abrams but the vehicle is a m1128 mobile gun system stryker

  • @tankcommander33 fuck em UP

  • I love how there are like 6 RTO's right there lol

    0:30 :P

  • in all fairness, hq,1st 2nd and 3rd are behind me waiting for me to clear the woodline with canister rounds before going in.

  • You were Filming or in the Abrams?

  • infantry soldiers carry m4's with a m68 sight (red dot) or acog sight (4X) the infantry has a designated marksmen in the platoon who can carry a acog or a larger powered scope but snipers are a se[erate element they carry the m24 or the barrett .50 can sniper rifle. infantry is a hard job and physically demanding. if you join get in shape, running, backpack with 35 pounds or more for a few miles. the army is a great place to be.

  • did u ever think about joining the Marine Corps?

  • What did you get on your ASVAB?

  • Honestly if you don't get a near perfect score on the ASVAB you're retarded.

  • I don't think that would be retarded for not passing. I think if they did fail, it's because they didn't have the persistence and focus to get it done.

  • Seriously... its so sad that the National average is 36. Unbelievable. 83 here.

  • Well done. I scored a 96, did very poorly on my Arithmetic reasoning.

  • like ak47s etc.

  • my friend said that us army/usmc infantry get to choose what weapon they wana use out there in the field that they dont have to use m16s/m4s this enrages me because he acts like he know everything his AIM is XeroBreh so yea can someone tell him that hes a dumbass and to get his facts straight

  • tell your friend that the army is not a democracy we dont get to choose what weapons we use

  • he also said that us army/usmc infantry use m14s as sniper rifles.. im 16 and im thinking about joining at 17 im going infantry is it worth it?

  • well i sleep well at night that i am doing my job by preventing the production of future terrorist. i was suprised though to find out that not leading them as much is not a good thing they run just as fast as adults

  • awesome response.

Bet that ruffled the feathers of that libero-fascist hippy.

  • now thats not nice its not our fault that a dingo ate your baby

  • how dos it feel to be a douche bag and everyone but ur crack dealers hate u

  • heat rounds are the same as efp, heat rounds have a copper slug lining on the front of the shaped charge, the shaped charge provides a focused direction, don't challenge me on this one i've done it for 20 yrs

  • keep it up man ;)

  • perfect title for this vid

  • Southernsoldier83, EFP and HEAT (rpg, panzerfaust, at-4, et al.) are two completely different methods. The efp uses directed explosive to manipulate a non explosive (like copper) to form a projectile and throw it. HEAT uses the Munroe effect, shaping of the explosives to focus SOME of the blast in an intended manner. Both are "shaped" but the term "shaped charge" generally means the HEAT method, i.e. No penetrator except the explosive gasses. HEAT has to hit the target. EFP can be some distance.

  • Its the same concept. Place explosive behind some type of metal in a special shape. Explosion pushes the metal through itself and forms a jet. This jet then punches through armor.

You need to study this a little more cause your explaining the same thing and trying to give it two different names.

  • one last time its not an opsec violation. there is nothing i have posted that is classified. get off the fucking opsec kick

  • Don't sweat it. Idiots like to get things stuck in their head and not move on as they don't want to be wrong. This happens all to often on the internet.

  • Talking about armor and other capabilities is a voilation of Opsec.

Have you not got a brief? These are things that our enemies want to know like where to aim at on a weapon system to knock it out. I am an Intel Officer I should know!

  • First, Classified? Information does not need to be classified to be covered under OPSEC. I am a Battalion Intel Officer, I think I should know. You need to go and ask someone like your OIC or NCOIC. If they don't know let me know I will get you the information you need on OPSEC.

Second, watch who you curse at cause sometimes they outrank you sgt!

  • SouthernSoldier83, you are absolutely wrong about EFP vs HEAT. You may be an S2 but officers are still academic office workers. EFP and Munroe Effect are two very different ways to defeat armor. Classic officer telling the "po' enlisted folk" how it is. I may have 13 years in, was 11B, was a Dragon and Javelin gunner, and have a BS but I still don't know shit, huh? I should've done ROTC, then I'd know my job.

OTOH, you are absolutely correct about OPSEC.

  • thats sfc, and i have enough time in the army to know what opsec is.

  • CID? Hmm.... Maybe to far there deptacon. Just tell the man his mistake and he can correct it himself. EFP's were created a long time ago. They just had a different name like shape charge or hollow charge. They have been in use since WWII. Instead of IEDs and those damn Soviet AP grenades they were put on rockets and tank rounds. Like the Panzerfaust and Panzershrek and HEAT rounds. Where do you think the idea for the RPG-7 came from? So blaming shape charges on OPSEC breaches is kinda baseless

  • that was awsome god bless u all serveing overseas and here at home ! :)

  • this vehicle has a 105 smooth bore, that round was a canister round consisting of 2100 3/8 in tungsten steel balls. it the worlds largest shotgun round

  • 120 mm smoothbore on the abrams with canister shot is the worlds largest shotgun

  • What kind of round did this smash1 use? Never seen this Stryker variant but I've seen the other variants in Lewis. The medical variant's awesome... hi-tech stuff. Thanks for the post.

  • 120mm smoothbore gun

  • Stryker MGS - can be transported by air

MBT's - can't (unless you do it one or two tanks at a time, but that takes forever and you need huge ass planes)

tankcommander33, how would you rate the Stryker MGS compared to a Sheridan?

  • there are no comments from me that have not already been made public. all videos and cooments are approved

  • The MGS looks wobbly. I suspect a tendency to roll over. I'd like to know.

  • there is no tendency at all, the flipping over is a myth. i have fired the maingun 360 degrees and it has never came close. the flipping myth started when the vehicle was being designed. the engineers tilted the vehicle 5 degrees at a time until it flipped so they could put a cant firing inhibitor on the vehicle

  • I saw a footage of future weapons once. It's pretty scary when the mgs was firing its gun. I mean, what if the mgs is climbing a slope? Just a concern. I pretty much worship your country's military equipment. IMO, the mgs will never replace a tank. MGS is more of a infantry support weapon, isn't it? Shame so many had to die due to poor planning.

  • I meant so may died in Iraq and afghan. IMHO you haven't really got used to guerilla warfare. That's your problem in vietnam too. Hope the top brass will fix that.

  • well so far no mgs crewman has been killed. insurgents have died trying. the mgs is was never intended to replace tanks and yes it is an infantry support vehicle.

  • True, I think the MGS is a great idea. The fact that it and all stryker variants use the same chassis is brilliant. I'm a big fan of parts-interchangeability. The part about deaths and gurilla warfare is about your armed forces in general, not the MGS stryker. The MGS is awesome.

  • what kind of protection does the armor have on one of those?

  • very little, it is the same as a stryker basically. there are some extra kevlar blankets in the turret and some added armor under the front but not enought to stop a good sized IED.

  • So much for OPSEC....

  • I was just going to say the same damn thing. Obviously Tank commander needs to get a new OPSEC brief. good video though.

  • Definetly a epic fail on your opsec!

  • Yeah Tank Commander.... you need to keep your mouth shut. Friendlies aren't the only ones who check out YouTube. stop discussing OPSEC on public forums.

I should forward the link to CID Ft Lewis.... wont take them long to figure who you are and give you a new OPSEC brief.

EFP's were created by the enemy because of OPSEC breach's....just like this.....they found our weakness's because some soldiers can't keep their mouth shut.

  • forward the link and if you ever threaten me again you and i will have a serious issue. i have done briefs across the country and these videos have been approved by s-2

  • holy shit!!

that made me jump when that when off hahah!! but good job keep up the good work!!
