  • unless this is for explosive endurance, you should cut out the reps that slow you down, you'll notice the gains in your vert and speed.

  • I see where you're coming from but it's hard to set precise drop offs with this type of drills. So we just set the limit at touching the rim, or an inch higher. Which is about 15%, I'd rather set them at 7% but then again it's difficult with jumps at the rim. It would be only 2-3inches from the best jumps.

  • These are bands from ironwoodyfitness. Be careful there are several band strengths and length. We used 3 number 3's bands attached together and anchored them from the 3pts line.

  • Cool video. Ever think of trying that with bands and a weighted vest or some heavy chains strapped to ur upper body? If you want to challenge your explosiveness in the vertical portion of the task maybe that could be interesting! I say that only because the bands are mostly providing horizontal resistance so dif muscles being challenged.

    First time I've ever seen that though, looks cool!

  • Hello, thank you. Well most all training we usually do is with vertical resistance, squats, deadlift, depth jumps. The bands provides both medium horrizontal and light vertical resistance. This is extremely effective. It builds tremendous power in the last few steps before take off. Try it.

    what's your reach? you're getting a little of your hand over rim on vert, you sure thats 40?
