All this bickering over who’s better....yet nobody seems to mention Snowy White's masterful playing when Doyle hands off the solo! To my ears Snowy plays closer to David's style than Doyle does.

Doyle has the technical chops, having been taught by the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughn (and whose father was Stevie’s drummer) but at times he puts a little too much of his own style into it while Snowy stays truer to the original. You can disagree if you like, it’s JMHO.

His strings are 'upside down' because he is playing left-handed.

In effect this makes his strings the right way round. Loads of left-hookers do it that way because it makes it easier to learn the fingerings when reading a book.

First of all, Roger is the voice of Floyd in the same way that Townsend is the voice of the Who! Secondly, this Bramhall guy can't sing like David. On guitar, he sounds good when he's playing it as David did. His problem (other than looking for the most part like he's taking a shit) is when he tries to do his own stuff. No inventiveness, no soul. And what the hell was Roger doing at the 'ship on the horizon' part? Reminded me of kids in a creche acting out 'Ol' McDonald has a farm.' :-)

I love this song so much, i like it better than the original with Gilmour. Doyle and Snowy are amazing and the shows not over cooked with lazers and fireworks. Just wish Doyle Bramhall wouldn't pull faces like he's shooting his load and just be so unassumingly cool like snowy.
