All I did was fill out a FASFA. Also grants go to full time students over part time students ... yet my last 2 semesters I was only part time and still got grants ... they arent overly hard to get. It just takes the time of actually filling out a FASFA.

Everyone brought their lunches.
The idea being, if your parents could afford to pay to send you to school, they could also afford to pack you a lunchbox.

Actually, the rates have stayed the same for Blacks since they started tracking. By the way, the teen pregnancy rate for Caucasians has actually quadrupled within the last 30 years. Also, I urge you to take a trip to South Carolina and check out how many White students @ USC are pulling in foods stamps.

I work full time and so does my wife. Because of this I get NOTHING free. Or I could be lazy and dont do better and get WIC, and free medical care.I would do the same thing,but Im not lazy and I got morals

I have 7 friends from my high school who where on welfare and had school lunch paid for one is now a lawyer one is a manager of a factory one is an assistant church leader one is a fisherman another is a photographer and another a nurse and one a owner of a garage since he was 25 so i am sure they are paying it back in taxes now as most with the lord in thanks.

I also recommend those who think folks do not want jobs & just use tax money for no reason but lazy. watch the movie The Pursuit of Happiness biographical drama based on the true story of Chris Gardner. The film stars Will Smith as Gardner, an on-and-off-homeless salesman-turned stockbroker. he used shelters & such now he helps others who need a chance that would have been on welfare & they have taken it & done well. sandford is for abortion then if wants to stop the breeding.

It is not about being lazy, me and my boyfriend make beyond assistance limits and we still struggle but I am not bitter about it, I know that if I was a single parent it would be almost impossible to make ends meet .

I believe in helping people who need help, but it seems that those who don't even make an effort to get jobs ride the welfare system for years at the cost of those who actually work hard. My family came to the point where we applied for food stamps, while my mom and dad had full time jobs, but the gov said "you make 4 dollars too much." But those who ride the welfare system for years get cell phones....WTF?
