  • Consoles are for the poor. Mouse/keyboard is an infinitely superior interface to play an FPS.

  • @jagovRUS Cool. Congrats on your pointless video game elitism. And he wasn't even talking about FPS's, why the hell are you sharing your ideals here?

  • @BuffaloaferN7 Elitism? Nope. It's actually just.. kinda true. As to FPS's, I was merely mentioning a popular game genre where the PC platform is by far the best. As far as his 'points', they are ignorant in scope and vastly overstated in the MMO genre alone, not to mention PC gaming as a whole.

  • mmorpgs are only a fraction of pc video games

  • @nukeboy14

    Yeah, and ...?

  • @TheArchfiend well gold farming and power-leveling only happens in mmorpgs. Most other PC games are unaffected by this plague so I don't understand why you are talking about this as it was PC gaming in general.

btw, what kinda gamer are you (if you do play games)?

  • The other part of the comment got cut off... You can get a computer that will game just as well as an xbox or playstation for just about as much. The computers that cost thousands of dollars are the ones that can play games with much better graphics than a console.

  • You're a fucking idiot. I would go about explaining why, but there's no point a you probably wouldn't see this. Also, the advantage PC gaming has over consoles is that if you get a computer with a good graphics card and everything, the games will look a LOT better than on consoles and will run smoother as well. The controls are also much more precise. Console gaming has absolutely no advantage other than it being more popular. Yes, consoles are cheaper than "gaming" computers' but you can g

  • Ever try strategy games like Civilization V?

  • Dude, my friend got his ass whooped over a Lineage 2 character.

  • this is why diablo is ten times better than mmo. its because their isn't any of these power level asshole in diablo 2, but spammers is a problem

  • Really? This is why I play offline!

  • I play WoW and I think people who pay for powerlevelling services are retarded. I play WoW because I enjoy all aspects of it, and if I want something in-game, I'll try to get it myself. If I can - hooray, and if I cant - oh well, I tried and had some fun in the process.

I dont mind others buying powerlevelling services. If you're caught you're banned and if you're not your account will probably be hacked by the same ones who levelled it for you, and the gold will be resold. Serves 'em right <3

  • you are a stupid shit...retard

  • @nek161 Well, you do make some good points.

  • I assume you're talking about WoW and lemme tell you right now. People in that game will NOT trust anyone to lvl your character or get gold online (except someone new to the game) they know that they could mess up something on their characters. People in wow dont go to a power lvling sight because of one thing: Keyloggers. Look it up, and i do think it is kinda pathetic. Nice video :)

  • Paying someone to level up your characters....that's pathetic.

  • PC gaming was amazing during the 90's and early 2000's, but now it's pretty clear that console games are where it's at if you're a gamer. Getting a decent PC to play games on these days is far more expensive.

  • @dabearz27 that's because the graphics are so much better on a pc. consoles use very low resolutions and anti-aliasing levels so of course they're going to be quicker.

  • i play wow, and i admit, ive used a website called rpgstash. however, my friends sumtimes get bent out of shape by it. and i tell them what u said in this vid "its just a game"

  • I play plenty of games where this happens. I agree with you though its funny how people buy a game with THEIR money and then pay more of THEIR money to someone to play the game they bought.. I play Call of Duty and I get messages all the time from people hosting leveling lobbies for 16 dollars. Just goes ti show how ignorant people can be.

  • It's not even just PC games... I can't tell you how many "IF YOU GIVE ME 800 MICROSOFT POINTS I'LL GET YOU A 50 IN HALO/10TH PRESTIGE LEVEL 70 IN MODERN WARFARE 2!" messages I've seen

  • considering my friend leveled up his char on WOW and maxed his stats, and armor. Then after he was tired of playing, sold his account for 5,400$ I'd say its worth it

  • I agree with your point that it is retarded. But I dont like how you were like "how would you feel as a player..." I play mmorpg's and i like them. If people want to power level good for them. Its their loss. for example, WoW. (i dont play WoW, just an example) You have to pay to play that game every month. If you power level, not only do you have to pay to level you also have to pay the subscribtion. But that is beside the point. IT ISN"T FUN! THAT IS THE POINT OF A VIDEO GAME! TO HAVE FUN!wtf?

  • HOLY SHIT!

I'm a PC gamer but this is one of the many reasons I hate MMORPG games.

  • I like gaming of all types, Mostly FPS, but I also play World of Warcraft, and have played many other MMO's, and if its one thing I have leared about WoW, its that...no matter how much shit somebody got for free...they cant be better than you without skill.

This goes for player vs player and Player vs environment.

  • I'd never do that. I'm not that awful at video games.

  • Wow!!!! To add a comment to an older Archfiend video, this is not all that China and SE Asia does........they also hack any account that they can get to any players' gold and equipment, and sell them for gold to run their new operation; making fake "pay money for lots of gold" sites to get players' info. These fake sites are spammed everywhere on WOW and email. How do I know? Someone I know just fell victim to hacking, and he didn't even go to one of those fake sites!!

    MMO gaming's in trouble.

  • MMORPG's make me sick! But it's even more pathetic to see people "outsource" their characters on a VIDEO GAME to level up faster. That's just sad...

  • I love PC gaming because of First Person Shooters, some third person shooters and the controls... I find it so much easier playing with a mouse&keyboard and I fucking hate MMORPG and RTS's and other stuff like that .. PC gaming isn't that bad man. Yea I agree that PC gaming has a lot of problems (piracy, cheaters and other stuff ...) about the main point of the video only a no life loser would do that, you buy a game so someone else can play it for you .... I

  • Frankly to do this, it is against every MMORPG games rules and regulations. And people do get caught and banned for it.

  • I'd say that cheat codes are the videogame equivilent of steroids... This is like getting an article off the Internet and handing it in as your homework. You get the good grades, but you'd be in deep shit if you had to do an exam. Most people who get powerleveled are bad players.

  • if your going buy a game play it for yourself and have fun

    people are lazy theses days

  • @jman199315 heck, I happen to be a PC gamer and I play all the game I buy, like Left 4 Dead and Grand Theft Auto 4, I dont have other people play them for me, if company wants to play Left 4 Dead, then thats alright as long as they dont do something stupid and ruin me in multiplayer.

  • I don't really understand it either. I mean I do sit down and can enjoy a good video game if I have nothing important to do don't get me wrong, but I play it myself so I can enjoy it, I don't see video games as a competition thing about who has the "best" character or whatever, that's just stupid.

  • how bout those eagles archfiend

  • I Play WoW.

    I Subscribe to TheArchfiend.

I agree with what you say man, with the Power Level Shit, If your gonna Play the Game, DON'T PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO FUCKING DO IT! Idiots...

P.S. Due to Increasing MMO Stereotypes, im inclined to let you know i have no life, no girlfriend, no Friends, No Job, and i play WoW 24/7 So yea! I'm off to basketball Practice!

  • Arch, what's your opinion about spending money on MMO's for the in-game extra content? Like, special add-ons in the game purchased with real money? Like, still playing your characters legitimately but spending money for extra content.

  • maybe its for people who want to be good at MMO's, but actualy have a life

  • @MrDaCheat it doesn't if you play for 24 hours on a game means you dont have a life its means your addicted has nothing to do with life

  • This is so true my friend used that and it pissed me off

  • "main stream main ones"

  • Your ability to hear is amazing. Do you want a cookie now?

  • nice

  • chocolate chip....no peanut butter

  • omg, lame. PB is where its at.

  • @TheArchfiend

Haha nice predictions... the eagles and giants both got Annihilated. & it really doesnt look good at all for your team in the first round you got like a 20% chance of wining...

  • Anyway this web site is a big scam i hope you didnt actually believe this site really does play it for you Archfiend? If you look outside that site if Payal actually ranks it top 10 its false, and bad customer reviews are flooding other review sites. Arch i recommend you take off the link in the description that web site can intrude your subscribers if they dont have any anti virus at all. Or they actually could be fooled into believing that clever scam.

  • I do concur. No diss but i'm a cowboy fan

  • pc gaming is better than console gaming for many reasons. don't let these lame people who can't play their own games make you think otherwise

  • nice video man

  • I hate this. Why doing things like that? Okay, "power leveling" is(can be) when you for example playing with a friend, and you 2 are in a so called party and earning experience by the "high level" enemies that your friend is killing for you.

I generally think that THAT is ok, but paying other people to play their characters for you..? Like WTF?

  • LETS GO EAGLES!!!!!

PS: Where did you get the eagles hat?

  • This video is so cOLD.

  • It's annoying when you're trying to read chat and there is so much spam from these people advertising these sites.

These companies usually get back into the account later and steal stuff to sell it, but sometimes they even steal people's identity or use their credit card info

  • I saw a documentary on this issue a while back, it followed a teenager in China who levels peoples characters and the shocking thing is that a lot of the people who do this are forced to do it. They're mainly kids in their early teens who are kidnapped from their homes in the poor suburbs and forced by organisations to work. They have their passports taken away and live in camps. If you pay these companies to outsource your gaming it's very likely you're subsidising slavery and forced labor.

  • I had no idea that people even do this. Unbelievable! I just don't get it. Why?

By the way, the Eagles are awesome. They've made it to the playoffs so many times in the 2000's.

  • Then what be the point of playing the pc game if someone else is playing for you and especially if you are a noob

  • I too am a console gamer. It's really funny, PC gamers say Consoles suck, and Console gamers say PC games suck. It just kind of goes back and forth continuously.

  • LOOOL!!!!!!!!

  • I will admit I recently got into world of warcraft and I thought at first it kinda lame then I actually got into it.

  • If the game is skill oriented then this power leveling thing doesnt exist

  • Well as a PC gamer do completely agree that it's pathetic (I actually work as a GM for one of these gaming companies) but this is about the same level as buying bots online and getting levels by leaving your computer to do your work for you.

Either way, good games usually require a lot of group play towards the end and bots/power levelers get you to the starting point for those content. Getting there can be very boring but I am definitely not defending these ppl.

    SHAME

  • Even though I didn't know about such a thing until now, I never really liked playing MMORPGs or RPGs. They took forever to even get from one place to another or level up or whatever. I actually play games that don't require leveling up.

And oh, Happy New Year from Germany. ;)

  • what the...? rpg's are good. they require strategy.

  • Video game addicts.......

  • I paint my toenails while I get my negro slave to play WoW for me. Is that bad?

  • This is fail, i think these people should have an asterisk next to there lazy ass names.

  • GO EAGLES

  • I can't stand MMORPG's, or RPG's in general. I've always been into PC games, but It's always been Half-life, Counter Strike, Doom, and even games like Spore. PC is the best kind of gaming, but it's ruined by RPG style games. Console games are good too, but they are too much for the casual gamer and don't give me a challenge.

  • @Bassbait lol you must be one of a kind nerd. no stereotype

  • Exactly. I don't come off as a nerd until I talk. I act like an idiot so as to mask my nerdiness because I don't want people to see it coming that I actually have brains. Of course, RPGs still suck regardless.

  • Shit, The Panthers walopped the Giants ;)

  • A lot of the time the Chinese gold farmers steal your account.

  • Usually playing WoW on a job gets you fired

and now you can get paid to play WoW

    fantaaaaaaastic. (sense my sarcasm)

  • I've never really liked MMORPGs, they're just a never ending quest. I do love Console-based RPGs though I never had the patiance to beat a newer rpg. ( I don't like playing one game for over 100 hours. BTW the fact that people pay people to play thier video game is fucking bullshit.

  • yea, its pathetic. people do this a lot in world of warcraft and lots of other games. this is part of the reason why i hardly ever use my WoW account now

  • "Outsourcing their video game needs" is pretty much the best way to put it.

As someone who wasted their eyesight leveling up in runescape, I totally agree with your vid. Honestly, I hope the trend of power-leveling grows and prices go down so it can destroy games that're too shitty for people to play themselves and make the programmers cry for not being able to figure out what fun actually is.

  • though i indeed play mmorpgs at times...i do agree with you greatly with this one arch

  • ooh samsung alias oh well still the same alert sound as mine.

share the nude pics of your sis man

  • How much money you got?

  • When I saw your title my first thought was game testers, which I always considered legitimate since they add a lot to the game through their feedback.

Well just to let you know, power leveling is just one problem with MMORPG's, another thing I don't like is that some people can buy money for the game (like, one million gold coins) on ebay for REAL money; I think it's all pathetic honestly.

  • Rant on fantasy football...thats retarded

  • I have debated doing that actually.

  • they charge $114 to get you from lv 40 to 50 in maplestory

you can do that in a day your self for free

  • WAIT what is the point of paying someone else to play for you isn't the point of the game to play it yourself for fun

  • dude your phone is a samsung rogue?

thats my phone too. answer your fuckin texts man.

  • Samsung Alias.

And it was pic texts from my sister that came right as I was filming this vid.

  • its sad cause my friends did that power leveling shit XD

  • im in pc gaming but not in mmorpg because that i have a life

  • me too im a fan of first person shooters on pc. i also have a full time job too

  • Wow I can't believe people actually pay for this power leveling crap, it's just a game, YOU BUY IT TO PLAY IT, not pay someone!

  • Wow... I heard of people "account sharing" to level grind like that, but i had no idea is was so big.

I never got into PC gaming myself because of a number of factrors, mainly because of the need to constantly upgrade your PC to keep up with the new games that "require" you to do so... But now I have another one.

I just wonder what these people are thinking. I mean when I buy a game to play it... I PLAY it, not to pay for others to do it for me. It's a total waste of a game experience.

  • PC and installing games suck ._. just like installing games on ps3 xD go 360!

  • Next, these people can get punished for this so if they get caught by the administration of the game, all this money they spent will be lost and the account will surely be closed.

Console gaming keeps turning for the worst these days, too many ports of the same game on multiple system, too many easy games, too short as well, no decent endings, too much focus on graphics. Oh wait, the PC games has this problem too kindda.

This is why I find DS and PSP to be the best game systems these days.

  • Agree'd, allthough if i might mention that a ton of games seem to mention the same boring EPIC storyline aswell which always has to have at least one major plot twist.

  • @MagneticPineTree yea but most mmos are repetitive like that if people don't like that they shouldn't play them

  • play Morrowind if you want a rich game play. its an rpg....no its not online. its pretty old but you can maybe find it on xbox or pc. pc is better cuz you can add to the gameplay via mods.

  • My vote is that Oblivion is better; not at everything though, Morrowind is obviously superior in some areas.

  • Well most people (the mainstream gamers) find it a little too hard to play Morrowind and i can agree with that. you have to actually read and figure out where to go whereas in Oblivion they put a marker on your map to go to. Anyway I thinks thats why people are put off by Morrowind.

  • The first time I heard the term power-level was in Final Fantasy XI where players with high level healing jobs healed lower level parties to accelerate the experience acquired. Usually it was a friend of one of your party members or someone who knew a party member who was being payed by game currency or via future help.

Now, power level or buying game currency with real money is such a laughable thing. These games are easy most of the time and gathering currency is just as easy as well.

  • I'm a full fledged PC gamer and I can say first handedly that it's vastly superiour to console gaming by far. The tremendously illegal transactions that you describe in this video are consistently boo'd off stage and most accounts that are reported for this are banned -- and that's if they don't get hacked and have to reroll a character.

Been a long time subscriber and this is my first disagreement in a long time. Keep pumping out quality videos, big fella.

  • Its times like this where you gotta dust off ye old NES..or i can pay someone to dust it off for me.

  • For real.

  • i agree with you on this Archfiend. The fact that people are willing to pay money for others to play for them just so they don't have to do it is just plain sad. If I ever did it, I'd feel rather dirty and cheated.

  • lol, no way to know? There is a good way to tell. If they are a total noob then automatically assume they did it. Not if they are just bad at the game, I mean a total noob, high lvl, good items, and no idea how to play correctly. And as for how I feel about it, don't really care, they're stupid, I'm not as stupid as them.

  • Im sort of a half half gamer, i have a few pc games and i mainly play 360 games.

  • I'm like that too, but with Xbox 360 and PS3.

  • Merry clinchmas lol

  • leave.

  • i wonderd who created the stupid website

  • Really no different from sports fanatics if you think about it.

  • Care to explain because I don't see the correlation at all.

  • It's about fanaticism involved. The fans spend crazy amounts of money and time remembering stats and watching games. It's just entertainment depending on the type of person. It's just that sport fans are more accepted since it's the majority.

  • Apparently starting at level 1 on WoW and wanting to get to Level 80 is 177.27$ and it would take 12-14. The fact that SOME PEOPLE WOULD PAY FOR THAT?!

  • WoW is srs bzns.

  • Thats just phucking disgusting. Those people are obsesed beyond our ability to percive! Holy Shit, this is one of the funniest, most pathetic things I've ever heard of! I'm laghing my ass of right now.

  • Don't forget about Runescape's autotyper, lazy assholes.

  • if i want to get the best armor then i will get it myself, earning it legit. Its too stupid to be real

  • glad i never played an mmorpg except a lil bit of h3 but i got bored fast the only type of online gaming i do is playing games on an emulator

  • Could you imagine having the job of just sitting there all day and playing video games on behalf of someone else.....LOL what a job....wonder how it pays.....offer benefits LOL this goes down as FUCKED ♥

  • It's in China. So.. probably $5 a day.

    And I'm not even joking.

  • I don't play any damn MMORPG and I never will.

No way will I ever play a damn game that requires me to pay some dumb monthly sub crap.

So I will never come into contact with these so called "Power Leveling" people.

  • @TheCommanderNZ lol y not.

  • You're right, power leveling is like steroids for gaming. Strangely enough, people have asked me to power level their characters in the past. I've never done it since it's just plain stupid.

And the Vikings don't even have to lose for the Eagles to get a first round bye, the Eagles just have to win. GO EAGLES!

  • This is awesome! I didn't know you couldn't use mods on gaming consoles, or cheat on gaming consoles!

No one ever uses boosting in console gaming. Not in call of duty 4, not in Final fantasy 11, not in FEAR 2, not in COD4 2. Not in Phantasy Star Universe. Nope nope. There is no boosting on consoles.

Thats why console is clearly superior. FTW!

  • Clearly.

  • Oh and, this video is about the Chinese workshops that frenzy their asses off for these PC based MMORPG's not a scant few home gaming console games that you can name.

But go ahead and act like I was arguing that there is no possible way to use mods in home console games just because you can name a few that do/can. Because power-leveling is just so linked to home consoles compared to PC games.

    Clearly.

  • wow Isn't the point of a video game to play it yourself? XD I feel bad for the people who waste their money and shit so other people can play their game for them XD

  • This is why I only play Pc games that actually requires skills.

  • In at least World of Warcraft, it's often not hard to notice who bought their characters and who actually did the work themselves. They have no idea how to play their characters correctly and they end up being terrible to group up with.

What's worse (and idk if you know this, Arch) is that oftentimes the gold people get were stolen from other gamers that were hacked. So not only are these assholes getting a ton of gold with no work, they're also screwing decent people over in the process. :\

  • I don't do the power leveling. It's not fun if I'm not actually playing. And besides, why would I waste money to cheat?

  • bots aren't retarded. they are just bots that play for you, not a big deal..

  • and why would that be? because america has some of the stupidest ppl in the world? lmao

  • To be fair, this has more to do with laziness and greed more than it does stupidity.

  • There is no morals with big company's.

  • Basically its same as going to toilet and pay someone to clean your ass? That is kinda pathetic.

  • Wait.. there are people that will clean my ass after taking a shit?

I must find these people ASAP!

  • I've noticed that americans love their cookie-cutter FPS' & GTA clones more than anything else

  • Andywarski?? lol

  • theirs also bots witch is a program u run and it will level why u sht ur pants so yea

fuck it theirs also good power leveling where u urself level the skill andthen drop the rewards in rs woodcuttig u drop the logs good xp/min bad money/hour so its a 2 sided thing

  • It's the same in games like Call Of Duty. People will do 1 on 1 matches and just score boost. They'll start the game, friend will join and boom, they're tenth presitge. Makes me rage.

  • People have to live, No matter what. If its playing a game for someone, Its a job, for people in china. It puts food on the table =/

  • I don't begrudge any of the Chinese citizens playing the game. It's who they are playing for that deserve the criticism.

  • wow whats the point of playing if your not going to play, just ridic

  • I've never even heard of it, but I think it's less pathetic than staying inside 24/7 staying at their computer playing it.

  • That's debatable.

  • I actually played World of warcraft 9 hours a day everyday some time ago, not alot of people power levels buy alot of them buys gold.

  • yeah powerleveling is stupid.its not fair.i find it very imoral.

  • Yeah powerlvling has been going on for awhile I guess. I didn't know what it was until I a few months ago.

  • I play RuneScape a lot, but it doesn't really offend me, because first of all RS is free, and second of all, I don't play bastards in China to level me, cause they can't be trusted.

  • I meant pay basterds in China, lol.

  • Dallas will Rape the shit out of the Eagles

  • I have known about this for years, i never even thought about trying it because i prefer to keep my accounts safe. did you know that almost any popular game will generally have people who "farm" (kill the monsters repeatedly for drops) for the game's money and sell it for real money?

  • @jerbearlovesme Thats what my brothers doing for me right now leveling me up in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

  • Dude, I had no idea that shit was going on!! That's really is fucking retarded!!! I mean, I play my share video games, but, damn!!! Where's the fun in all of that anyway?

  • Thanks for telling me about the website I might try it out THANKS

  • I have been subscribed to this service for years.

  • That was a given.

  • As a British female (j/k I'm actually a male) who plays World of Warcraft all day, I am deeply offended.

  • 0:10, stop doing that with your eyes, it makes you look stupid, man.

  • I deliberately will do it more since you are literally the ONLY ONE that mentions that.

  • Actually blizzard (the company that made World of Warcraft) knows exactly where each and every one of their players lives. So if you were to 'teleport' from America to China in one day they would ban your account.

  • I think if there is 100,000+ people doing it that they wouldn't exactly want to ban all those accounts and lose what would be MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in membership revenue.

  • Rats!

  • I played WoW for a few months but got bored of it.

I found it so deeply, deeply sad that people sold game money for real world money. Just play the game the way it was intended or don't. I think it cheapens the whole experience.

A particular pet peeve was that because gold was cheap (if you were prepared to cheat ), it caused game prices to inflate and put things out of reach of legitimate players.

  • OLD was news like 4 years ago :S

  • mmmmmmmmm....dounuts

  • As an avid gamer i must say i find this to be sickening lazy and just shows the problems people have with commitment. Think about it hiw lazy must a guy be to get other people to play the games he brought for him

  • @SpontaneousPudding yeah but at least he's not the one sitting in his room playing WoW he might have other things to do like a Job maybe and doesn't have time to lvl up he just wants to have fun with a high lvl

  • In my oppinion i just find it dumb to start playing a game like that if you can't fit it around your life. But y'know thats just me...

  • Dude.. It has been around for YEARS... I love pwning the L_Up's.... It just makes you a better gamer.

  • It's kind of lame, but the fact is that in MMOs like WoW, there are two separate games: there's the leveling aspect, where you get experience, learn to play your character, etc. When that's done, there's the endgame raiding scene, where you get into big groups to do the most advanced content in the game. A lot of people using powerleveling services are trying to skip the former to get to the latter, because many people believe that's the only part of the game that matters.

  • There's a reason it's against the TOS in most MMO's. This doesn't really hurt all of PC gaming like your annotation said. The bigger problem would be piracy, but even that's a dwindling threat. You seem to think that the MMO's support this. They do not. And you seem to be implying that all of PC gaming are MMO's. That's certainly not true. A small part of the market is composed of these games because Blizzard's killer app decimates any other MMO.

  • I know for a fact that MMO's don't support this. just saying that it is what it is and there's not much they can do about it since it would be hard to detect who absolutely does it.

  • They can dectect it, but the actual concept is pathetic like you said. It's one of the reasons I quit two years ago.

  • It's a damn shame.
