Craig Finn's lyrics are what separates this band from all the other wannbe rockers out there! Dylanesque genius... and I'm a massive Dylan fan, so thats not easy to say about anyone... and the addition of the keyboard player after the 1st album - masterstroke!

I loved these guys live but I kind of understand why people don't dig the half-spoken aspect. He didn't overdo it when I saw them live and his voice was less scratchy so that definitely helped. Either way it was one of the best shows I've ever seen and there's melody and groove and great lyrics in every song. That's what people dig. It's authentic
