That is true, however, I'm tired of people like Angelina or Madonna doing documentaries about the horrifying situations in those places, kinda pointing a thinly veiled accusatory finger saying DO SOMETHING, when in reality they should be exposing and accusing the corrupt goverments that NEED to be held accountable for their failures for it is THEIR job to look out for people.

I also think Angelina is a good person and I admire her very much. I mentioned Madonna because I saw her Malawi documentary I am because we are, and I felt like it was an accusation, that somehow I should get up of my couch and solve the problems in Malawi, yet in the documentary they don't touch the corrupt institutions and goverment that turn the blind eye to all these children being abused, raped, mutilated, ignored, etc. At the end of the day, being a humanitarian is not about giving out

But I personally think there is something all people can do, and that is donating money to good non profits, because not everyone can build a school and no matter how hard we try, some governments wont ever change. I also think changing as a person and not spreading anger helps the world more than poeple realize but thats jsut what i do :)

crutches, or giviing out money or about mantaining these people, but about giving them the tools to be able to sustain themselves alone, and fixing the goverments who are the ones who have to make these people's lives of at least acceptable conditions. Of course the goverment can't protect everyone but to see villages where children and people are walking over sewage and human wastes, and the local goverments ignoring these places(I'm quoting from the documentary) then there is something really

That is not something for to get involved in. She is not a politician or an economist. If she involves herself in that issue it will remove the focus for the real problem. @SaveRepublic our foreign aid to pakistan most likely like with most governments we send aid to ends up in the hands of government and their friends, not the people. recently there were 600 some odd civilians killed from u.s. drone attacks in pakistan. i'd say our presence in pakistan is the primary cause of this displacement she is sympathetic to. so yes, i support her. sure, americans out of jobs need help; address the cause of that instead of asking for 'aid' money.

Megan Fox is vain and comes over as a bit stupid. 2 things you can't accuse AJ of being. As for the comparisons, MF was first to do it. MF is a mediocre actress at best and is beautiful but IMO a bit dull and is of no interest unless you're a guy. All power to her but it's there is no comparison and I doubt there ever will be other than on a purely physical level if AJ has a freak accident sometime in the next 20 years.

What an incredible human being. I get SO fucking infuriated when people say she's doing this for publicity reasons. SHE DOES NOT have to do anything. She's immensely rich.
