It does make me wonder though...why do people who say Deltas can't step or claim that we are copycats sit there and watch our ENTIRE show? Then on top of that, they take the time out of their busy lives to make comments about us. OK, whatever. I replied to you so long ago that I forgot all about it. In any event, I'm done arguing about it. If you want to think someone is stealing AKA steps, that's your business. Keep thinking that. I've been a Delta too long to be worried about that type of mess, hard-stepping, stealing, Ivy Stances, or whatever. I have seen many, many AKAs step and NEVER have I seen any step as hard as Deltas. That's not an insult, just a fact. Zetas step hard, too. That's just a fact. Get over it.
I have AKA in fam for 50 years, I saw AKAs step my freshman year, they brought down the house steppin so hard, AKAs and Alphas will tell you of AKA chapters that bring it like that, do hate.
That's great and AGAIN, I say I can only speak on what I have personally seen, which in my experience and from the things posted on youtube as well, AKA don't usually step hard. Not an insult, just a fact and an observation. I love to see Alphas step, but I've never been impressed with an AKA step show and that has nothing to do with how long an organization has been in your family. My mom has been a Delta for 40 yrs this year, but it has nothing to do with how anybody steps.

OK, whatever. I replied to you so long ago that I forgot all about it. In any event, I'm done arguing about it. If you want to think someone is stealing AKA steps, that's your business. Keep thinking that. I've been a Delta too long to be worried about that type of mess, hard-stepping, stealing, Ivy Stances, or whatever. I have seen many, many AKAs step and NEVER have I seen any step as hard as Deltas. That's not an insult, just a fact. Zetas step hard, too. That's just a fact. Get over it.

I have AKA in fam for 50 years, I saw AKAs step my freshman year, they brought down the house steppin so hard, AKAs and Alphas will tell you of AKA chapters that bring it like that, do hate.

That's great and AGAIN, I say I can only speak on what I have personally seen, which in my experience and from the things posted on youtube as well, AKA don't usually step hard. Not an insult, just a fact and an observation. I love to see Alphas step, but I've never been impressed with an AKA step show and that has nothing to do with how long an organization has been in your family. My mom has been a Delta for 40 yrs this year, but it has nothing to do with how anybody steps.

Just to understand, what is the point in "bashing" isn't it enough that we a woman as black woman must conform and protect ourselves from others who "hate" us? Why don't we try to uplift each other, support each other, WE must learn to love and give a positive image of sororities. Stepping is not serious enough to take personally, I am bout Greek Unity. I've given many PROPS to this chapter- so come off the hating thing please, it is just that the steps look like their chapter's stuff (Alpha, Beta Psi & Duke chapters).

The "little girl thing" has been done by not only DELTAS but many members of the NPHC for many years.

People kill me with the constant talk of "step similarities." I've never seen AKAs step like Deltas or vice versa. Deltas step much harder and AKAs are more into doing "cute" steps. The hair comment really made no sense. My hair is long, always has been. I'm light-skinned, too. If you look at stereotypes, I should be an AKA, but the beat of my heart was crying DST, so I pledged my soul to the BEST sorority!! Oo-oop, my sorors! Great show!!

I reiterate, the step they are doing is a HU AKA step. This chapter is doing that step. People always say we sling our hair when we do that particular step.

Definitely the 1st (and prob last) time I've ever seen AKAs step that hard. I'm not going to sit here and make/try to point out similarities. AKA has been in fam for 50 yrs, when people do our steps, old heads tell me that it is no different from a SkeeWee or throwing up the Ivy. It is an AKA SHOUT-OUT to that chapter. People who steal steps do not know fully what they are doing.

Agreeing with detriotmadison and reiterating my earlier point, you really have to let this whole "stealing" thing go. These women did NOT steal steps from your sorority. These women work tirelessly before EVERY show they enter into and have NOT had a bad show yet. They are ORIGINAL, ENTHUSIASTIC, AND OVERALL GREAT PERFORMERS.
