3- Machida not having much experience with adversity is true. Machid is patient, smart and doesn't put himself in those types of situations. His ground game is awesome, and his standup is way better than Rashad. King of Dancing? Rashad isn't too shabby. They are both hit and run, and it works out in they're favor. Machida is for real, and so is Rashad. But, I think overall Machida is a more complete fighter, does not mean don't respect Rashad, cause I respect everyone that gets in the cage.

you make some valid points, but i would have to disagree with you. first of all, rashad never threw a "blind bomb" against liddell. it's called a counter over hand right that works every time your opponent goes for a body shot from the outside of the pocket. remember liddell vs jackson how it ended? almost the same exact thing here. it's text book boxing 101. ask any decent boxing coach. machida is not taking him down. rashad is a division 1 wrestler in his prime. rashad 3rd round TKO.

I like Rampage a lot more than Rashad but if the two were going to fight (if Rampage was perfectly okay) I would think Rashad would win. Rashad is an amazing fighter now and what makes him so deadly is the speed of his punches. When he knocked out Liddel, Rashad's punches were amazingly fast; not to mention his chin is pretty solid as well

The reason why I would pick Rashad over Rampage is because even though they are both great boxers and great at standing up, Rashad is faster in my eyes. Sokoudjou probably isn't as fast as Evans, but he has a even amount of a lot of speed and power, and Machida took care of him. Machida is a smart fighter, with awesome kicks. He made Thiago Silva look like Houston Alexander. Machida is for real, but Rashad is always counted out, yet he still walks. Its interesting.

Well, Rampage may not be fighting Rashad anytime soon. That's if Machida beats Rashad now 'n gets the belt, which has a high chance of happening. Whoever Rampage fights next, he'll need a good 2 1/2 - 4 months notice ahead of time. The LHW division is full of monsters, and that's all they're gonna give Rampage from here on out (Jardine, Rashad, Machida, ?Shogun?, etc.). You have to have great game plans in the UFC now, that's why Chuck can't win by just sprawl 'n brawl anymore. Always evolving.
