  • Wish I could save this to my iPod cuz my Internet isn't to strong in my drive way

  • @allen1094 -I hear you mang

  • My bass exploded :/

  • @MrHolmzHD - OH NO!!! :D

  • This is a trick question... why do all the tones sound ringy and tinny? Like some sort of... flash compression :S :P I love you to death, but this is a total waste of 18 minutes, it's not a test... it's just extremely dirty, compressed audio. You should make this test as a 1 channel mono, lossless audio file and post a link to the downloadable flac file, once again this is flashed compressed, it's like trying to do a best test of a bass test you recorded with a smart phone microphone.

  • @skizzarz - Waste of 18 minutes? - I spent a lot of time making this video as a request from my loyal viewers...If you don't like it - don't watch it - simple as that. Besides... It's a 320kbps audio file - You're probably watching this on 480p - Which obviously sound like shit compared to watching it in 720p.

  • @EXOcontralto I agree that it will sound better in HD but it will still be doubly compressed. Once into MP3 and once into flash for youtube. I'm just saying there is no pure science behind this doubly compressed audio except for that fact itself. I'm guilty of putting music on youtube as well but it's just so people can preview tracks I like, there is no absolution to it. Whereas this video is titled 'test'. I would consider a test something with controlled factors.

  • hmmm, i have noticed that even on my computer that i get a "pop" when skipping around this video, even at low volumes. when i have played tones like this in different cars (even factory stereos) i get the same "pop" sound. wonder why that is?

  • @ecoots - Because when you skip around, you are skipping to tones that are at 100% output, not slowly faded, or graduated -

  • 16Hz sounded like a washing machine but that 1Hz was just freaky...

Amazed that my Sennheiser headphones managed to go all the way through (though the sound was far from clean at the lowest end).

  • @Anonymous1885 - LOL, I love testing tones on headphones - You can crank that bish all day long without bothering a soul :P

  • you know that if you hit one and you can still hear something you have the best sound system in the world

  • @UnicornCop4567 so the lower you can hear the better the sound system?

  • @UnicornCop4567 The human ear can't hear near that low of a frequency

  • @UnicornCop4567 - Do you see your sub moving, or do you hear a high pitched ringing?

  • @EXOcontralto i was using headphones with a built in subwoofer, i heard a faint low sound

  • @UnicornCop4567 - Nice man! That's some good shit :)

  • holy freakin crap! i tried this with my skull candy skull crushers, and it rattles on the table at about 77

  • @UnicornCop4567 - Good shit mang, thanks for commenting!!! :)

  • wow great video for producers to test out sine wave bass

  • @ExCaliba831 - Hell yeah!

  • @EXOcontralto I tried this with my beats studio and at 30 hz i started feeling a pain inside my ears, but a think i was able to hear until 20 hz

  • damn i just blew my receiver a 7hz :(

  • @loudNlow601 - Shit man!!!!!

  • Gave my Phillips 6.5" subwoofers in my home theater system a workout! Exo how ya been?

  • @MsSmileey - Goop - watch?v=dC3BwR4RFC4

  • @EXOcontralto do you have any tips for me to get more db with out spending a ton of money on my car audio.?

  • @kalebrp1 - Deaden, brace, seal, & hope for the best!

  • @EXOcontralto im sorry i dont understand. what deaden means and brace? and seal what?

  • @kalebrp1 make sure you car has lots of sound deadner where needed, make sure your box is braced for no flex an properly seald where need be

  • :D this made all my books fall off my subwoofer, my mum thought I fell over XD

  • @ikilleduku - LOL, now that's what I'm talkin' about!

  • ear raped

  • This is really basic stuff in reality. Listen to this I'm my kickers. My windows been flexing like water haha

  • sounds much better with out the beat.

  • @letemrip32 nah, YouTubeDownloader is better. just copy and paste the link and you can have YouTube videos on your iTunes or YouTube audio on a flashdrive in seconds, depending on your internet speed, mine is fast so it's cool

  • nice :) ! i love this

  • -1?

  • past 10hz my heart started to pound I was short of breath and slightly disoriented o.O

  • Type (Save) Before YouTube In The Url Here You Can Download The Video (: Now Have Fun

  • I used dvdvideosoft to download youtube "music". In this case, I'm downloading this whole video to play on my DD. Now that = win.

  • @k3n12ock

    *use

  • Hey exo..I have a t6 15 soundstream sub..wired 2 ohms running 1000 rms..seems that since it got cold here (20 degrees) my sub doesn't flex as much and doesn't put out as much bass..any ideas man? Is it cuz the cold weather? I know it's a stupid question but id like to know

  • coolest thing ever!:D

  • @J0S3Ph0Ch0A1977D2B - Thanks for watching man!

  • @k3n12ock down load YouTubedownloader and you cab download it straight to your comp, video or audio only.

  • @Jx1x3 I use this - Good suggestion!!

  • @Jx1x3 Or download Real Player and when you hover your mouse over the video, you download it and can just convert it right in the download window to an MP3 file

  • AT 60Hz, it sounded like my sub was plugged into a wall. Good thing it wasn't AC current, it was this bass test.

  • @CelestialTrick10 - "This bass test", your sub, my headphones, and your wall socket all use AC voltage - Saying "AC current" is saying actually "Alternating Current Current" - Your amp may be powered by 12 volts DC, but that's all to maximize your AC voltages to your subs / speakers.

  • @EXOcontralto I think your meaning using an AC to DC converter to power my sub, but that's not quite the case. What I have is a 85 AH capacity car battery sitting in my house with an AC to DC power converter hooked up only to the battery when it's being charged seperate from the wire connected to the amp. I might get you a video response whenever both my parents are out while I'm home.

  • @CelestialTrick10 - No that's not what I mean... I mean WHAT I SAID lol

  • @CelestialTrick10 An amp outputs AC voltage...

  • @CelestialTrick10 As you may know a/c current in the USA and other parts of the world runs at 60 cycles per second (60 Hz), so it makes sense why it sounds that way.

  • @ k3n12ock^^^^^^ You probally can find it on mp3ify.com. its uses videos from youtube for the music......

  • after 28hz my headphones cut out

    haha

  • No download link? I'd rather not dvdvideosoft this.

  • @k3n12ock - It took me hours and hours upload this, and re-edit it. If people want to use it, they can watch the video, or DL it through the many sites that do it for free and with high quality.

  • @k3n12ock use keepvid brah works great

  • It Takes So Long To Get To The Lows Lol

  • @ColdHardCarnage - That's what fast forwarding is for!

  • nice

  • wow thanks exo! i swear my subs looked retarded from 10 hz's down lol

  • how do i play this to my speakers??

  • Download Link?

  • Holy shit. I just wanted to see what this was with my home system and it rattled everything off my wall.... And I didn't even think this system would do that. I can't wait to use this to tune my subs in the car!

  • @pimbuk - SICK MAN! Now that's what I'm talkin' about!!!

  • thx for this one maybe some people wont rage about hearing lower than 15hz

  • Good bye windows

    Good bye hearing

    Good bye speakers

    oh hello police!

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU WANT EXO TO PLAY IT ON HIS SYSTEM!

  • laptop speakers, le silent track

  • OMG My ears!! Love It :D

  • man...best bass test ever on yt :D you are the best!!

  • None of these Hz tests on youtube is correct? My system atm is 33Hz and doesn't go below that on songs, but on those tests it moves till 1Hz. I wanna see how low my system really goes.. at least on my real system :p

  • thank for reupoading! not that i didnt like the 1st one haha

  • i love excursion

  • As Promised .Without background music ..Thanx Man

  • @ABLACKX Why would you want it without music ? Seriously... are you one of them burpers ? I would hate to hear just a continuous 35Hz tone.. without any variation.. The music was a compliment to these test tones..

  • @bigsteamfan Hello.

Sometimes i like to test my woofer and enclosure response by hearing it and feeling it -usually after making a new enclosure- and i want to concentrate on hearing the woofer only ,when does it distort, farts, and frequency drop off point.

and i don't burp i'm into home audio and SQ not SPL :D thnnx

  • @ABLACKX OK then... I have a folder full of these test tones, from 1 to 100 HZ, thanks to Bass Mekanik.. So when he uploaded the first version, it was pretty pointless to me, but the music added to it a little.. This version is exactly what I have, normal 10 second long test tones, so I find it a bit useless for me personally.

  • 4th!?

  • thank my subs .. "/

  • my laptop cant do this..... wait till i get it on the cinema system mwahahahaha
