if it runs 100 km/h then takes 27.77 meters/sec. from startline to finish line it would be 3.6 sec if it is 100 meter distance. So the average speed is approximately 60 km/h? Not the top speed of a cheetah. It's like Usain Bolt :D

6.130 seconds at let's say around 100 km/h would be 27.78 meters a second, so the distance is roughly 170 meters. That is, of course, asuming the cheetah is running at 100 km/h and not faster. If the cheetah is reaching 115 km/h, the distance would be 6.130 * 31.94 = 195 mts.

Let's round up to 200 meters? :)

you've obviously forgot that it needs some time to reach its top speed, so you can't just assume that it runs with its top speed throughout the race. a cheetah needs about 3 seconds to reach 100kph, so the distance would be shorter than 170m. and btw i've seen many videos of cheetah running at high speed and i would say a cheetah can run faster than that
