This is good but I must make some things pointed out:

1. Eurodance and Minimal are styles, just like how Progressive and Acid are styles. Examples include Euro Trance, Euro House, Minimal Techno, and Minimal House.

2. Hence Deep House didn't have to be placed seperately.

3. The breakbeat example you provided sounded too jugle-like. You might have wanted to use a song by either Meat Katie or Plump DJs.

4. Jungle and Happy Hardcore are subgenres of Hardcore, so they didnt need to be separated.

Why does it matter? I liked almost all the songs. Why do songs need to be categorized anyway? It's not like you can really make a statement like "I like hardstyle" because there will be a lot of hardstyle songs you don't like. If I like a song, I like the song and don't care what people classify it as. Generalizing is stupid and categorizing makes it all the easier. Of course this also includes lumping songs into groups like metal and techno, that's just as bad.

@Szeicheng I can say "I like Hardstyle" if I want because I like the idea of a hard ~145 bpm beat with intense reverse basslines and hard synths. I also enjoy House music which is COMPLETELY different seeing as its typically an upbeat/groovy type of genre ranging from ~118-135bpm with smooth basslines/drum tracks. This is why things need to be categorized so that there's no confusion. You can't call House and Hardstyle "Techno" because you would sound like a complete idiot. Read next post:
