  • brittanic was sunk by a mine. also, the guy could have hopped off the boat instead of dying.

  • They tried to make a love stary like they did with jack and rose... not working -.- but its good movie

  • I like this movie. Whatever people say about its history. The actors were great! I would see it again

  • WTF??!! They really need to stop calling these ships UNSINKABLE!

  • --> there's a mysterious thing happening under NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN .. LOL..

  • .. REAL NICE! although it's not that technologically advance as what JAMES CAMERON did to the TITANIC .. I feel sorry for Miss Campbill's Fate when it comes to boarding ship's which are said to be UNSINKABLE..We just have to admit that there's no such thing as UNSINKABLE unless there's no harm to it...

  • britannic copy lusitania class.

  • @jrockchon wrong - Brittanic was an Olympic Class ship. the olympic class ships were much larger, and faster. also keep in mind the engineering and design differences go way beyond the asthetic

  • lovely movie .... <3

  • So ... she went back and risked her life for him, only for him to die anyway.

  • The R.M.S. Queen Mary was launched on September 26th, 1934 and was decommissioned in 1967 to be turned into a hotel in Long Beach, CA. My wife and I spent our honeymoon onboard. It is truly an amazing ship even by today's standards. Olympic was scrapped in 1935 if memory serves me correctly. All three of them were beautiful ships that were way ahead of their times. I am a maritime historian specializing in the Olympic Class liners.

  • @89D15CRX :o I Wanna Be a maritime historian when i grow up!!

  • @89D15CRX Wow! I like you already!!!! I love Learning about the Olympic Class Liners

  • 1:12 Good bye Britannic

  • 0:31 HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • the real britannic wasn't down in 1 move: first she hits the bottom of the sea, then she whent down

  • The most terrible videos ive seen in my entire life! RIP to them who died.

  • ok ._. you're kidding me... and after that? there's the enemy D:

  • when god hears the word titanic in any ships name he will sink it

  • it is just not meant for white star lines to have ships.

    Titanic.....SANK

    Brittanic....SANK

    Olimpic....SCRAPPED

  • @MegaJohnCom Olympic had the most amazing career of all ship before the 30s and was the biggest english ship in the world before first Queen Mary (in 35 i think?)

  • @MegaJohnCom well if they only hired the right people i think they all wouldve been scrapped

  • @MegaJohnCom Olympic was scrapped after she had a distinguished career from 1910 to 1935, and served as a troop transport during WW 1. she was called "old reliable". so to say WSL was not meant to have ships is BS. only 2 (Titanic and Brittanic) suffered these fates.

  • This film is bullshit. There was no German spy. The Brittanic was sunk by a mine. Not by a bottle of Ether. There was no stupid love story.

  • @mrwolfie88 u r right. they pretty much copied Titanic. there WAS no love story in this accident

  • @mrwolfie88

True but it does make for a good movie

  • Man, this movie is just laughable.

  • Propellers look SOOOOO fake I almost laughed.

  • @MinamuTV CGI is getting more crapy every year

  • And bitch, you gonna have his baby too!

  • 82 IDIOT,7 NORMAL HUMAN!

  • I'll never let go, Jack

  • @Shahamu its not titanic.. its britannic ..XD

  • it is just like the titanic because jack dies and that dude died it is sad

  • I am watching this on November 16th, 2011. In about 5 days it will be 95 years after HMHS Britannic sunk

  • @mrtrainboy019 Yep, and here I am on the anniversary. Complete coincidence. I had no idea there WAS a film about the Britannic until today.

  • There is one thing I don't understand... If this was a sister ship of Titanic, and it had identical transverse compartments, shouldn't they have flooded the same way? I mean without rolling the ship on its side?

  • you cant expect to really sink in 57 mins in the movie. they must really cut it short. juts like in titanic, it only sank after1 hour but originally, it was 2 hours and 40 mins. butstill, this a B film while titanic is A+.

  • 4. good and cool idea though

  • pretty crap movie, it was all fluff, it only took the ship like 10 minutes to sink and like 20 seconds from when the propellors were exposed.

But wait, hold on, turn it into an underwater museum as a world's first? 1. As if there isn't one on a pier or something, maybe the first shipwreck museum. 2. That's crazy, it would take years to make and cost crazy costs. Plus no normal person would be able to afford the cost.

    3. Obviuosly this got cancelled 'cause this was made 11 years ago.

  • Fail CGI!

  • Comment removed

  • That was the DUMBIEST thing i ever seen a man do!

  • the boat doesnt look real

  • Anyone who knows anything about the history of the Britannic knows this is a bunch of crap. They have taken the history of the Lusitania and added some of it to this movie. About all that is true is that there was a woman, Violet Jessop, who served on the Olympic, Titanic, and the Britannic.

  • y it capsize the hole was on the other side O_o????????

  • Yeah.... Titanic.... a far more better film

I mean did these people not realize that parts of this film looks extremely fake and "followed" a "love story" which he saves her(titanic) and dies(titanic)

  • 0:30 FAKE DEATH!!!

  • @quEroNie How is it fake?

  • its only 30!!!but lusitania si many

  • @0nse11 The Britannic sank in 57 minutes so they had plenty of time once Captain Bartlett ordered to abandon ship to get everyone into the life boats. Only 30 people parished after 2 of the lifeboats were launched before Captain Bartletts orders. The Lusitania was struck by a torpedo and sank in only 18 minutes. Its not clear why she sank so rapidly but many believe the munitions may have exploded after the torpedo struck the Lusitania. But either way the Lusitania sank in 18 minutes.

  • i seen a bunch of peaple board the back of chuck norris

  • I feel sad for those 30 people who lost their lives. Rest in peace.

  • Who is that poem by that she was saying at the end

  • Korbra91 tmi tmi

  • 57 minute because of two factors:

    1) the captain tried to beach the ship

    2) they were expecting wounded that morning so the nurses below deck opened the porthole windows which is why she listed and collapsed. she hit the sea floor and her bow broke off from the ship.

  • britannic is sinking and titanic

  • I like the way they show the ship but for the most part the ship doesn't even look like it belongs there

  • Probably not. Titanic and Olympic did though. Titanic when it sank. Olympic when it was hit by the HMS Hawk. Britannic got drafted into WWI as a hospital ship for the English navy so it's sinking goes on the English crown's rep I think.

  • rest in peace people of the britannic and hoped they died a good death and now deep in the ocean britannic rest in peace

  • britannic is the innocentest sister of all so this movie is bad

  • At everyone asking why he chose death (the guy that was torn apart by the rotors):

He was a German, that spyed the ship, sunk it, and gave commands to the submarine attacking the ship...imagine what he would face in england..he would die either way, or face a long, long life in prison

  • My great great grandpa was on the Brittanic

  • imagine being in those boats and realizing that a few hundred feet below you is the Leviathan sized brittanic, falling into its final sleep while you wait for rescue, if the brittanic sank like the titanic, the stern section would probobly still stick out of the water, when the ship started to roll, the bow had already hit the bottom, which is why the forecastle deck and tip of the bow are bent, its funny to think how shallow that water is and yet that astonishingly large ship can lie down there

  • i hated JC's titanic to much love

  • 0:30 that is the wierdest death face I have EVER seen.

  • how come they dan have this movie on youtube but not Titanic?

  • that's one brave guy....giving up his life for her

  • mat all the peepl hoo dide be with god may they rest in peece

  • The britannic took 57 minutes to sink...in this film is took 19 seconds O_o

  • @rocknmetalhq Actually, It took 57 minutes to sink once it started taking on water, not when it went under.

  • @rocknmetalhq

only the capsizing at the end.

  • @rocknmetalhq The final plundge was 19 seconds. The ship would've started sinking the moment it was filling up with water.

  • @rocknmetalhq yes the sunk part could be longer it was for me.

  • did the sinking of the britannic screw white star line even more?

  • ok the guy clearly had alot of time to jump and swim AWAY from the ship

  • Some of the scenes in this movie are so fake that I don't know how they got by!

  • Hold up- this isn't the original version! I clearly remember the sailor at 0:51 saying "That was the dumbest thing I've ever seen a man do". This must be edited!!!

  • If anyone wants to know at the end she's quoting from.- George Gordon, Lord Byron, Childe Harold's pilgrimage

  • What a dumb movie. This film sucked.

  • Wow

  • no he actually sad: that's the greatest thing i have ever seen a man do.

  • What did that naval officer say? "That's the Gayest thing we've ever seen a man do"?

  • Why Were The Propellers Sill Going Round, Man?

  • who was dumb enough to restart the engines im >:I im mad

  • you know i think the stupid part is he had like a minute to get off and swim to safety plus hold on to the girl but he chose to die.....

  • sad but good movie

  • bye,bey britannic

  • i swore i could see blood flying out of te propeler and whats weird all the boys die

  • poor girl the britannic is on herway to join the titanic

  • 01:10 weeh

  • I bet Mark Kruger (who wrote the Frankenstein US tv miniseries) could write a better script.

  • This movie just plain terrible. I'm planning to make a movie Review Program & this films is going to be one of the first. It basically rips the same love Story as James Cameron only with a James Bond theme(with no Gadgets).

  • she was like pushing her eyeballs out to cry .. :S

  • I'm pretty sure that if he tried he could have gotten away...but noo he wants to be chopped up by propellers..yep best way to die

  • lol what a cheap film. even water is fake

  • did she really sunk that fast?

  • Why Did The Man Want To Be Killed

    By The Shipmovers?

  • @luizgazitamenfilms

Give your life for one you love. Let her live on,and may she thank you for what you have done, you won't be forgotten! That is most likely the reason.

  • @luizgazitamenfilms Actually there called propellers, 2nd he probably just wanted to end his life.

  • @luizgazitamenfilms Because he was a german spy and I guess that he knew, the english would never let him go on board of the life boats. He rather died bravely, as they always do in such movies, for honors seek ;)

  • @NessiMauzz

He would probably have been tortured and executed if the British got their hands on him.

  • idk, but if u can have underwater hotel ?

  • wow it made me cry :'(

  • Um, why didn't he jump out of the lifeboat and try swimming away?!?

  • @joshstoph

the current of the propellors would have been too strong for him to swimm against

  • @joshstoph

Maybe the props, were creating a vortex. Would have sucked him into them.

  • @joshstoph He would have been sucked in.

  • @joshstoph I dont know. I do know for a fact that in the real sinking of the Britannic that 2 of the lifeboats got chopped up by the Propellers as the result of boarding the lifeboats before the captains orders. But I dont think a incident like the one guy who let himself die on the lifeboat occured in the real sinking of the Britannic.

  • @joshstoph uh because 1 he can't out run the ship 2 he chose to dye

  • @18merhabio

    do you mean die? lol

  • @joshstoph it would have still sucked him up and probally even faster

  • @joshstoph The ship was still moving a little bit. If you would jump out of the lifeboat, you would get suck into the propellers.

  • @joshstoph he was trying to be brave and die brave.

  • Thanks for uploading. Was this ever released on dvd?

  • German Sushi

  • wata good movie i watched the whol thing

  • Odd, Britannic sinks at an 11-degree angle: Titanic broke-up & sank at 11-degrees.

  • @23456789Alexis - but they sank in completely different ways. Titanic sank by going down bow first. A new theory states that Titanic broke apart from bottom of the ship to the deck of the ship and not the opposite. If you see the bottom section of the ship seems like it stretch apart and not compress. That is why they say this is the theory on how it sank. Britannic sank as you see in the movie here, on its side. There is less stress on her sinking this way so she didn't break up like Titanic.

  • in early parts it hit a mine it was not made by a guy dropping a whiskey bottle in one of the furnances

  • My great auntie was on the titanic and the britannic she survived both ships

  • cooool

  • 0:12 not very inviting!

  • It is only convenient that the propellers stopped as soon as he died.

  • the ending where the tell how long it took for Britannic to sink with that type of music is so emotional it makes you cry easlly.

I am a third cusin of one of the ambulance that went down with the Australian Hospital ship AHS Centaur. it's making me cry now from just talking about it.but the Germans from the battle ship Bismark that mineded Britannic were stupid and the japanese from the submerine I - 177 were very very stupid for sinking the AHS Centaur they were worse then the germans.

  • I like how they made it sink at sunrise rather then in the day

  • britannic was abit bigger but out of all four funnels liner titanic was the most luxary and cost more than anyother ship in her time

  • why in a love of god this movie has sooo much CGI!!???? even at the lifeboat scenes that crapy CGI!!?? WHY

  • I agree with that, but it makes the sinking look very cool

  • he was wrong...

  • WHY DOESNT HE SWIM!!!!!??????? GOSH!

  • he was wrong

  • I think the ship will faster then him...

  • The problem with that is if he swum he'd still get chopped up because the propellers would suck in anything that weighed less then a lifeboat.

  • hell yah thay should remake it trov101 is right

  • wow that was boring, it had a good storyline but I can't stand the many errors and flaws. James Cameron should remake this movie using a combination of what really happened with the ship sinking, this storyline and a storyline of his own. And the lead should be Rose Dawson and how she meet her husband. I think this first showed on FOX family cuz everytime I try to remember when I saw this last I always remember it was on FOX family

  • james cameron should sue.

  • When she is crying at the :54 second make and then her face goes from really sad to not so sad....like eh....in less then a second.

  • if you stiop at 0:32 you will see that no one is in lol it is empty

  • this ship was smaller than the titanic was

but they thought they were unsinkable

    but sadly it sank

  • actually the ship was a LITTLE bigger then the Titanic also a little wider.. You can look it up on wikipedia

  • @811952 Uh, No!! Britannic was 2 ft wider than Titanic because of the extension for the Inner skin. Was as long as Titanic, 882.9 ft, but the extra steel for the 5 higher Bulkheads & double Skin Britannic was heavier, 48,150 tons.

Britannic was the biggest of her class.

  • THIS VIDEO IS BAD

  • god i love this movie too and titanic i like both of them. they can make tons of money if they have better graphics still one of my favs tho! ^_^

  • Wow... I am speechless. I actually feel that this was more tragic than the Titannic now. They were both such great ships, however the Titanic suffered a greater loss of people. Is this an actual mivie I could buy??

  • This movie is good but not as good as James Camerons movie Titanic. I wonder if JC could make a better Britannic movie?

  • no.

  • @chico16412 I bet he could.

  • at 1:01 did Brittanic actually go down that fast.

  • yes, i think in the movie it did nd maybe in real life i dont know personally because i wasn't on the boat

  • omg, I can't even imagine how huge that is :(

  • @tobinthom

    in 55 minutes

  • @tobinthom It actually sunk in 55 minutes

  • @tobinthom Well, it honestly depends on how much water flooded inside. So yes, it could have. :?

  • @tyfi109 Big hole in the side, all or most of the hatches open, failed water tight doors, water would flood in like Niagra Falls.

  • @tobinthom Nope. It went faster. XD

  • @tobinthom no, infact the ship didnt even capsize like that, it's hard to explain how it actually sank.

  • @JakeL33T989 You don't know that. The way the Britannic is resting on the bottom it does suggest that the ship partially capsized to starboard and took a nosedive into the sea floor.

  • @tobinthom The Britannic did go down much faster then the Titanic. I was watching the History Channel about this and i think i remember them saying 15 mins.

  • @NikkoOfThePinkRose Brittanic went down in 57 minutes, according to the films credits. I think you mean the Empress of Ireland.

  • @NikkoOfThePinkRose the empress of ireland sank in 14 minutes. some say the lusitania sank in 15 minutes but it was actually 18

  • @tobinthom no, it listed first and kept listing continuously. in the end it capsized in bout 90 seconds. but it had a continuous starboard list. it doesnt show it in the movie

  • geeeee..........we dont know how lucky we are, im terrified of water to start with, being there would be literally my worst nightmare! God bless the souls that perished. Peace be with them. x

  • Takes alot of guts to let yourself be sucked into a ship's propellers. that is just no way to die.

  • this was a damn good movie! BUT...lol... Titanic was way way wayyyyy better! but it was a nice movie, i liked it!
