things I'm nervous about regarding D3: the classes- they seem boring. the monk is silly- fighting with his hands, a "wizard" is too harry potter, this voodoo guy is totally anachronistic. the third person view- I don't know if it will successfully make the leap from the excellent 1st person/moveable view offered in WoW to this more restricted view invented in the 90's because of graphic limitation.
Do the requirments for this game require a little less then for WoW? Cuz WoW is a HUGE world and what not. And the graphics in WoW can be really intense.
No hyper-speed, ugly transcoded stream gameplay. Enough time showing us the UI to get a sense of actual game play. And not annoying commentary, giving us a sense of what you found interesting. Nice.
Oh, and you didn't leave too much gold on the ground (I know it's beta, but my obsessive side thanks you).
@creiij I just play, then I pull all the fraps clips into Sony Vegas and edit, then I watch it and give commentary as I watch. So it's post game review commentary.

Unfortunately, this doesn't look like a Diablo game. It looks like World of Warcraft: Hack 'n Slash Edition.
I've played D2 since release and I still occasionally do (it's my favourite game of all time), so I'm a bit disappointed. I think I'll have to just keep playing D2, hopefully the servers will stay up.

The guys who made the previous Diablo games left Blizzard a long time ago.
@Kazumaster Except it's not the WoW team. Most of the WoW team was pulled to Titan with the rest left to work on WoW. The D3 team is pretty much an entirely separate entity, headed by a guy who has good developer credentials [before he joined Blizz Wilson was with Relic, who also has a great record] - so this is false information on your part. PoE looks like it should be great, as will TL2, but D3 is evolving, like D2 did from D1 and all signs point to it being another monster hit :)
@DaCrackseed Really? Well, I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong, then. I was told it was the WoW team, and I didn't doubt that information because the game really does have a similar art style, and the textures are nearly identical. That's true regardless.
I don't know if D3 will be a good game or not, but all I'm saying is it doesn't look like Diablo and it's missing a lot of features I wanted it to have. I will not be buying it, I may just keep playing D2.
@TyroneTasty That's not really fair. Diablo 2 is genuinely a fantastic game and just because D3 is a sequel doesn't mean it's an improvement. Hell, it even manages to look worse because of the terrible textures.
You're free to disagree of course, but this is just my opinion. I'd never been as excited for a video game as I was for D3, until Blizz started releasing information on it. Each new reveal crushed my hopes. Diablo ended with #2 as far as I'm concerned.
@Kazumaster the art is different indeed, it's more look a painting, but very grim painting with very climatic light effects. I seriously don't know where your problem is - one guy was comparing D2 and D3, and apprently D3 is much more darker. Just becuase there are more colour variations doesn't mean it's not dark and grim. Tristram town gates are covered in blood, monster are approaching you from the darkness, and there are some great visual eefects, not to mention npcs are more active.
awesome vid, Most of them don't have commentary (or even party chat) so it was great. I suggest picking up D2 and its xpak and giving it a try when you've played out the demo.

Great vid man, I hope more people start putting up some high quality VODs. Streams are neat, but man are they laggy and have horrible resolution.

@hankehenry Yes there is a cursor, I set Fraps to not show a cursor when recording, so that's why you don't see one in the videos.
