@JOVANI7919 get trial versions of both and decide for yourself. Also depends what you want to do, if 3d only, then 3DS max, if 2d and 3d then definitely autocad. Hope this reply wasnt too late for ya, lol

3Ds Max 2010,s version of mentalray have more realistic rendering power then pervious versions of mentalray when i compare.3Dsmax or 3Ds Max design both are used to create creatures,Architectures or Worlds from our thoughts.

3D Studio Max 2010 and 3D Studio Max 2010 Design are two different products. Design is more intended for architechtural design (as you guessed)

Autodesk is based in Montreal, so no wonder why she has a strong French accent... She might have done it on purpose to show off how Québécoise she is XD, in other video she said "floo" instead of "flow"... XD anyway, it's still understandable.

Sorry homey, she isn't speaking it fluently. When you say third generation in fluent English, it should not sound like TURD. She is not fluently pronouncing the TH sound.

Not that it is not understandable, but it is very entertaining, especially because when she says turd it makes everyone think of poop. That's because the word 'turd' is describing a little hard piece of poop in the English language.  I also think its pretty cute too personally by the way FYI. YAR!

Language fluency has little or nothing to do with pronunciation. Fluency is about speaking fluidly and being able to make yourself understood clearly in a foreign language. By your logic, no one with a foreign accent could be considered fluent.

Fluency has a lot to do pronunciation. This is because she is saying a different WORD. She is saying TURD! It has a completely different meaning than third.

People can have an accent and still be fluent in terms of understanding the definition of the word, but they if they are not fluent in 'pronunciation' their meaning/intention could be misinterpreted.. This could be really bad in the wrong situation.

Besides, its not like I don't get her meaning, I JUST THINK ITS FUNNY SHE SAID TURD!

I would say she is very fluent, but not 100 percent. When she pronounces the word Third and it actually sounds correct, and not like Turd, I would say she is getting much closer to 100 percent fluency. She is more than half the way there, and I commend her for that. There is no way of getting around the hilarity of her saying the word TURD when she is meaning Third. Its still very funny.

By the way, I also have a very old friend who is French. He has a very noticeable French accent, yet he can still fluently pronounce every word in English correctly. So by my logic, people with accents can still fluently understand and pronounce the English language. I am not trying to be mean either, just pointing out something that is pretty funny. Now in an emergency situation though, this could be the difference between life and death, so its a good thing this is just about a 3D app.

I never said I hate her accent either or that not being entirely fluent is so horrible. I said before that I liked her accent too and think it is sexy. All I was trying to point out here is that it is funny she said TURD.

There is no reason to get upset over that. If that makes you mad you need to work on your sense of humor I think.
