It's a great song, and Phil Oaky's voice compliments it well, but it's Little Boots (Victoria Hesketh) that we want to see! It's very disappointing to see those two old women from the Human League instead. Why include them when they had nothing to do with the song or the music, and lack the talent to have contributed to it anyway? They are unimpressive individuals with combined IQ that is less than Victoria's!
@killerdalek thanks for your comments and for taking the time to watch the video. Yes I know it's a Little Boots song, and I'm a big admirer of Victoria and her music, but as there was no official video for this LB song feat Phil Oakey, I made this one up putting together two Human League videos (namely All I Ever Wanted and Tell Me When) which seemed to work so well together with the song, which (and I'm sure many will agree) has a very 'HumanLeague' feel to it...
@killerdalek It was only meant to be a visual 'joke' to be taken with a pinch of salt and a hint of irony. I don't wish to comment on the talents of the HL girls vs those of Victoria. Victoria is a singer/songwriter-musician, the two HL ladies aren't, never were and never pretended to be. .. Anyway looking forward to hearing new LB stuff in 2012!
@kataka64 Yes, but it's NOT a Human League song! It's by Little Boots. This video smacks of plagiarism to me. It's as if the maker of this video wants to con people into believing that the Human League did it, and that those two old women are singing it. They had nothing to do with it at all! It's the genius of Victoria Hesketh, AKA Little Boots.
Phil adds such resonance to this song. He has such a unique voice. It's booming out, l yet at the same time soft and expressive. Looking forward to more from the League in 2010
@egoboss It's not a Human League video at all. The song and music are by Little Boots, and Phil Oakey was lucky enough to get to sing as a guest. It's got nothing to do with the two old ladies from the Human League at all, so I don't know why they've been included in the video. It's bizarre!
@Do335D Not as good as one with Victoria Hesketh in it!
