Sorry for my opinion but i (along with a lot of people) agree that on the new Jag, the front part when viewed at an angle looks like Dory on the Finding Nemo movie. It does look like a fish. & the headlights look like sad eyes. The design that the late Geoff Lawson did on this Jag xk8/xkr 1996 - 2005 has the perfect lines & is symmetrically balanced that makes it one of the best looking car ever designed! Ian Callum mentioned he had some troubles designing the new one. So sad!

The camera is attached by a pole to the rear of the car. The pole is then removed by image processing. so we must be able fo find a shabby area with the pole removed.

This has got to be the only way to do this cos the car was always in the same position.

I`m in love with that sound, i dont care that it`s fake, but that sounds amazing. By fake, mean it`s not the engines own voice that you can hear when running on only headers, that`s the tuned sound that jaguar wanted with that exhaust system, but anyway, the best sounding modern day exhaustsound after the SL55 AMG... But still, nothing can beat an old american bigblock sound, but this comes very close :D

I second that. I was working at this shoot. It's a rig with one section being glass. which is easier to remove in post. This was shot in a lovely mediterranean island. It was parto f a promo video for the XKR-R, the 4,2V8 supercharged. Sounded fantastic, even better than the video. The final piece is not on youtube.

Excuse my ignrance but how is the rig attached to the car. I can't see anything extending from the Jag.I am assuming it has been digitally eddited to hide the arm. Either way damn cool. BTW, I can't afford anything like that but I have owned a '90 XJS V12 Jag.Problems and all it was fun.
