  • Kolikor vem , je bil bombnik..letalo, ki je prineslo Smrt mnogim

  • I get goosebumps when watching this :X

  • I didn't know they used an Emulator II

  • I loved the days when the crowd could lean on the stage. Now there's always a blasted safety barrier between the front row and the stage. H & S no doubt?. It always seemed to link the energy of a band to the audience something that is now missing at most gigs.

  • Enola Gay was the name of one of the crew's mothers, The captains I believe.

  • I'm in the crowd for this when I was a student in Sheffield. Excellent show. Saw them again recently and still looked and sounded great.

  • It's curious how, this being 1985 and the availability of better synths and samplers at the time, both a Fairlight and an Emulator can be seen, BUT...the old cheap and cheerful Korg Micro Preset still stands on top of the synth rack and keeps itself alive in the riff...I guess they thought it was too much of an important part to the song's sound to have some digital machine knock it off its spot :-)

  • beautiful, yet sad song when you think about the Lyrics, "this kiss you give is never ever going to fade away" The kiss being the Nuclear Bomb Enola Gay dropped on Hiroshima.

  • It's pure class, I just love it :)

  • Enola Gay is a Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber! Forever a great song!

  • I was there down at the front jumping up and down and having a great time.

    Happy days.

  • This is so amazing! I wish I were there.

  • Totally fab!!! I used to have a copy of this gig on video - don't know what happened to it. There was always a great atmosphere at an OMD gig - and you could feel the energy of this one just by watching it - wish I had been at this gig!!!

  • Great band - great song! Wow they were really big band then! Didn't really occur to me... They were probably always bigger in the UK than Denmark!

  • colleen is right its about the plane that bombed hiroshima.. lyrics explain it all...

  • llps2

a song is written about using a WMD, but if it helps you cope with your sexuality crisis, all the better.

  • messages from the same concert was also spinechilling

  • Ok it's just incredibleand I've quite licked some of their tunes, but I wish I'd just been there to witness the event. Apologies< my spelling verges on dyxxlexia.

  • ISTEN KIRÁLYOK!!!!!!!!!

  • egyetértek

  • what a lovely synthesizer voice in this performance. :)

  • Few artist like Andy transmits that much energy and enthusiasm Live to the public... I haven't seen that many dancing and enjoying their own music the way he does. OMD is great Live!

  • WERE great live.

  • ARE great live! Put on a great live show last year.

  • This song was chosen the most popular 80's song in Peru in March, 1990.

  • Zgadzam się z Tobą PPABLOO1 :)

  • Super utwór, jest już kalsykiem, który zawsze będzie miał swoje miejsce na podium. Chyba najlepszy teledysk live tego kawałka.

  • Mal's a top guy. He had a heart attack in 2004 and bypass surgery in 2005 so must have been exhausted by the end of the tour. Great respect and welcome back to OMD.

  • I realise this video is 1985 but Mal can still do it live.

  • how does the drummer keep time with that fecking drum machine.

he must be interfaced with it some way.

    very good.
