  • Once the gyro slows down it will FAIL

  • I cannot make my mind up: which comment-makers are the more stupid? The ones who say that it is antigravity? Or the ones who cannot give a cogent explanation of how it really works? BTW, this gadget has been 'analyzed to death' in the scientific literature.

  • quite clearly dark witchcraft, somebody gather a eighteenth century mob.

  • superconductor!!!! (Y) omg this is so cool. how much is the thing?

  • haha Antigrav is possible mechanically and not magnetically

  • how mechanically? sounds interesting, it's something i did never heard of o,O!

  • Coolio.

  • magnetism

  • if it was true anti grav i could jump up there and float

    but im not a magnet!!!

    and it aint anti gravity

  • from what I read of Ed Leedskalnins work is that you don't need to be! Micro-magnets can go through any metal, stone etc.. easier then through air. If you can lift stones you can lift humans, anything for that matter

  • not "just" magnets. magnets and the principle of rigidity in space. thanks to centrifugal force

  • You know every time someone calls this "anti gravity" a fairy dies

  • Pretty funny I wish I would of thought of that one.

  • i need to sell these

  • magnet

  • its magnent put some metal under it

  • That magnet can't be superconducting.. Must simply be like magnetic fields repelling each other.

  • it works better if you do it on top of your PC modem ,will sparks when it flys

  • lame its just magnets

  • How it works?

  • magnets

  • Mr. Jack Skeight is right...I know how Mr.Accident did his "tricks", :D hehehe...I explain below...:. And I admit, he's good.

  • Hey guys,I know how Mr.Accident Report did his trick. Being the Y2K,this is instinct for me. HeSimply used a strong magnet base, it could have been either North Pole or South Pole, but whichever he used, the axle that was spining atop of it was the Same.causing a repulsion force against each other. He is probabley using a hidden powersource, that's why you saw when the flying axle landed, the base was off,so it couldn't repel. The axle floats because of the centripetal force pulling it outward. :)

  • People should stop calling this anti gravity because it actually isn't

  • Once you put something conductive underneath the apparatus it losses its magnetic field. the on es i have seen do not need the magnetic plate I have forgotten the scientists name at this point however it was created in 1840's I have the designs on my computer at home. Any ways good job on creating this magnificent bit of equipment I do see a huge change in technology however we are way behind the times.

  • ignorante

  • Who can take the sunshine... Omega man can.

Riddle me this come kick the Brass.

What is 2 1/2s as seen through the looking glass?

If you where he, what would he say the answer would be?

I dare you just can't see, how cavemen are so but never free. $15.99 is the fee.

There's a cat looking for a new owner could it be?

  • the cat has ran away.

    did i get it right?

    an instant right? and

    15.99 for the adoption fee?

    that was a killer riddle.

  • where can i buy one of those

  • This is no Pandora's box but a nice demonstration of magnetic levitation.

It would be fun to build a little motor into the spinning top so it lasts a lot longer.

Note - it is not anti-gravity any more than a 747 is.

When scientists eventually work out how gravity works, THEN we may see true anti-gravity devices. Note also - the laughable lifters from Beamshipcaptain are most definitely not anti-gravity either.

  • seems inconsequential and trivial, but we r looking at the future, ladies and gents! what kind of future, I dont know! we may be on the verge of opening pandoras' box!

  • Oooh, Pandora's Box. Give that damn box I'll open for you, I would be carefull, but I would definetily open it.

  • Make sure you get that big magnet closer to your computer!

  • Notice the Levitron top needs to spin like a, well, top in order to stay in place. It's a "gyromagnetic levitator" or "gyroscopic levitating magnet" or "magnetically suspended gyroscope", your choice.

  • you can buy em off teh internet, i got one..not fake

  • Its not anti gravvity or strings. on the base there is both + and - magnets. idk if the - is on the outside or the +, but one is in a circle aroud the perimeter and one is just a corcle in the middle. then on the top, its in the oppsosite order (like if + as on outside and - was on inside, then on the top it would have - on the inside and + on the outside)

resulting in the top pulling down towards and repelling from the opposite magnet. its actually pretty easy to figure out if u think about it

  • It would be antigravity if there was no magnetic base underneath it, just earth.

  • I would be careful near those monitors.

I have a levitron and I walked past the tv with it about 5 foot away and it ruined the tv tube.

Just about anything in the house that can get damaged by magnets does if the levitron base gets within a few feet of it. You have to be pretty careful when you own one of these.

  • ha... moron.

  • nice

  • yep no antygravity it is physics there are some vectors that have there resultants 0.

  • If thats true explain the shoe.....that goes ALL the way over. And what about the cup placed on top of it??? If you really believe what you said you're a fool!

  • I concede the point, just looked up their website, apparently a spinning top on magnets, pretty cool so.

  • @accidentreport

No it is a magnet. Have one. Neet trick but thats all.

  • shut up

  • cool where can i get one

  • thats thrust.

    not antigravity.

  • Magnets. Not thrust

  • Whatever lol it's still not antigravity

  • Yes it is. >.> its defying gravity. Acting against it and suspending it self in air. Its anti-Gravity

  • No.. It's magnetics. Antigravity would be breaking the BONDS OF GRAVITY without any opposing forces.

  • >.> Take Physics you'll Figure it out. The Teacher even uses this as an Anti-Gravity Example. The magnets in the top Repell the magnets in the Area in the middle of the tray susspending it in the air. Its not using fuel or any force to push itself up. Its mearly spinning and repelling. If you don't get the fact its anti-Gravity. -Deffinition: To repell against the earth(defy gravity-Levitate) Same thing. Im done here if your tiny fragile little mind doesnt get it after that.

  • its not antigravity definition:Anti-gravity is the idea of creating a place or object that is FREE from the force of gravity.now,is this elimination the gravity,no,there is nothing on this world that can eliminate the gravity,it just countering the gravity force with another force, its using a magnet, thats what the base is,so again,Anti-gravity is the idea of creating a place or object that is FREE from the force of gravity.

  • You fucking idiot! It's magnetic thrust stabilised by the gyro action. You need a new physics teacher. You are the one with the fragile little mind goind around supposedly correcting people when you are completely fucking wrong.

  • lol thats based on magnets

  • What else you got to play with?

  • what puma shoes model is that? i'm wanna buy one

  • Spins for ages because theres no frictional resistances :P

  • Air.

Yes the air resistence is negligible but there is still friction.

It will spin for a long time but not forever.

  • where can i buy one of these at...

  • Thinkgeek dot com

  • There HAS to be a way to apply this to human flight. HAS TO.

  • in a way there is they just cant control what might happen if the earths mangetic field interferes with it i just want a hover board and im cool

  • Only if humans were 2cm tall and had the mass of a grain of rice :P

  • Or had a really big magnet-pack on our backs. ^_^

  • Oh lol that would be awesome!! :D

  • (Currently in development. By me. :D)

  • NO no no...it's MAGIC!!!

  • electromagnetic equilibrium spinnings stablizes the top

  • Ah, science at its best.
