This ride opened the day before my birthday. I wasn't able to be there. I haven't been on vacation in 4 years. I haven't been to Disneyland and California adventure in 5 years. The walls in my room are covered in pictures of me with the characters. Disney is my second home, and I want to come back home. LOL, there's a sketch on Saturday Night Live where a theme park ride stops for a malfunction and the guests are stuck with the still-moving (creepy) animatronic robots while they wait for it to get started again. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw you guys stopped! XD

poorly done. It sucks to see that this is what disney has come down to this. i grew up going to disneyland and seeing all the amazing animatronics and i was excited for this to open. by the end of the ride i was disapointed beyond belief. hopefully this is a work in progress and will make it more up to standard for disneyland.

Thanks for the video! I am very pleased with the animatronics but, at times they seem lacking. :( The ride seemed to go way too fast and the lighting was off in most parts although, it could have been the camera. I love how the imaginers made the movie flow nicely and I hope to work on projects like this one when I intern there soon. :D

The ursula in the ride(4:38) is 30 feet wide. now wait a minute. This is wrong. My friends dad works at disneyland, and helped build the ride. him and his family went to the cast member opening, and went on the ride. There was a shadow of Eric hitting Ursula with the ship, leading to her demise. I remember her saying that was the only disappointment. Was that behind you, and you simply didn't film it?

My Review:

Amazing audio animatronics. Very lifelike. The "Part of Your World" scene is good. Along with Ursala's Lair, "Kiss the Girl", and the Wedding. But, the "Under the Sea" scene is a little too bright. Just dim it down so it actually looks like you're under the sea. The first CGI scene is ok but the second just seems cheaply done. They could've used the scene from the movie and put it on a loop. And the ending is terribly done. Where's Ursala crowning herself and being killed? :\
