yes, I have a dual boot on this Hard Drive... I split the Hard drive with two partitions, one is a Nfts file system for windows xp and the other a Fat32 for Linux Ubuntu... what I need to do, is reformat the partition of the Linux portion, so that I can reinstall a different version of Linux. I did try to go through the disk management on the NFTS windows xp portion to reformat the partition of Linux, but it does not give me an option. do you have any suggestions? thanks for your help my friend
thanks i just want to know that. how can i make more free space in (c drive ) is that posibal if i delete my any other drive to make more bigher the (c drive) coz i have no space in (c drive) and i have allready 4 drive and 2 of them is empty and i dont need those 2 drive coz thats empty the only space i need is in drive thanks vary much
Let me see how you can accomplish that. 1) If possible copy the files from your My Documents folder in C drive to other drives. 2) Or use a disk partitioning software to enlarge the C drive
this is the second of your videos that help me alot THANK YOU VERY SO MUCH MAN i thanks everybody that post help or share the aknowlege with other persons BUT THANK YOU SPECIALLY for be very clear and explain step by step all the prosses great tutorial 5/5 stars just sorry for my bad english
the disk management tool is supposed to be used when you are running windows, therefore it should allow you to partition the disk even when you have only one disk. PS: you can not make partitions in the system partition (that is C in this case) , you can delete and re-create other partitions though
Hi there, how are you? I have a problem, my C drive is almost full, I only have left 256mb of free space, but I do have 59.06 GB of UNALLOCATED space. Can I extend my C drive with this amonut? I mean, can I add this amount to my C drive? Thanks for your attention,
you can't extend the C drive in the unallocated space with the windows built in tools. You can create a new partition and format to make it usable, then you can transfer your data files/music/videos etc on it to free some space in the C drive. Alternately copy the data onto cds and delete them from the C drive. Also try running ccleaner to free some space
Ok i hooked my laptop harddrive up to my PC and i tried to do this but when i right click on the ntfs the only option givin is HELP ??

I think It is not possible to partition/reformat a linux partition through windows. You need to use a linux boot disk to do so
