I think this was the Year the tundra V8 was introduced in the supra. Usualy the Skyline or NSX is 1,2 and 3.

@Ahya728 I can understand you if we were speaking BMW M3, but the other German cars just have alot of horsepower under the hood and a pricetag that would make a normal person shit his pants. While Toyota Supra is not cheap but cheap enough to give a normal person the chans to give the BMW owner the finger, it got a great engine that can be tuned a whole lot it is also a very good looking car. The Skyline R33 GTR and R34 GTR are in the same Price level, also a great engine, easy to tune.

@Snirlex you're speaking of consumerism, that's fine, and I gotta say Jap cars are cheaper, but to compare on a purposely built car, it needs tuning. And that's the problem.. it's cheap yet could cost a lot. But the fact that the matter is that, Jap cars and German cars are equally precise on their engineering. So I gotta say in general, both german and japanese car makers are good ..equally good.

They did back in 2003 and 2004 highlighting the (respective) 2002 and 2003 seasons, then shown the JGTC All-Star race from California Superspeedway. Since then, no highlights of this series, which is a great shame because this series is great.

Remember that its a 3S-GTE Engine in the Supras on nott the JZZ engine. Its same engine thats in the Celica GT-FOur/MR2 Turbo. With this engine they can get a better 50-50 weight because its a 4cyl engina and they can push it much farther back in the car ;) I just love this car :D

The closest thing we have here is the ALMS series although the majority of the GT cars are more expensive sports cars that no one can afford. However the racing is just as exciting.

They race in different classes. The Supras have 200hp more than the Porsches in JGTC, as well as looser restrictions on weight, aero etc.

The 2 Supras are coming 1st n 2nd and therfore lapping every car they overtake - the cars overtaken have to move out of their driving line/let them pass them... dont get me wrong im a japanese car fan - if u check out the way these cars are made for super GT, theyre that far from the production model that theres no reason why one a supra couldnt overtake a porsche ;D

Pure GT cars...well, JGTC are closer related to DTM cars than FIA GT cars...you know GT1-GT2-GT3...

Instead both DTM and JGTC are build like pure prototypes with just far conections with the road car versions...
