I always find it ironic when conservatives use Orwell quotes. This comes down to a question of democracy for me. When you have such extremes between rich and poor, you don't have a democracy. So when the poor use their only form of leverage (its large numbers) to influence the system, it's wrong.

I always find it ironic when conservatives use Orwell quotes. This comes down to a question of democracy for me. When you have such extremes between rich and poor, you don't have a democracy. So when the poor use their only form of leverage (its large numbers) to influence the system, it's wrong.
Yet when big business interest groups use their wealth and influence it's never a problem for conservatives. That's a completely top-down oligarchical structure that you support.
