Rooibos is the for sure one of the BEST overall teas - in terms of it's benefits as well as FLAVOR - and you can get it in a concentrated form which has MANY applications. Enjoy!
I purchase my rooibos tea from iherb.com. "Now Foods" brand is the best because it is a pure and concentrated 2g sachet individually sealed in plastic. And so competitively-priced. Regular brands tend to be too dilute for my liking.
Use referral code YAN312 to get $5 off your order. Since each box of 30 sachets costs only $3.54, it is as good as a free box to sample!
I tried my first cup of rooibos last night. It was bagged, and the ingredients were "rooibos, chamomile, apple, rosechips, rose petals, natural flavors". One of the best teas I've ever had. Now I wanna try all of these, hah.
omg if you guys love rooibos.... go to purematcha . com they have rooibos powder, just like matcha but its rooibos matcha...its so good!!!!!! its so rare!!!!!!!! try it...i bought mine on ebay , just search pure matcha...its about 2 dollars cheaper on ebay.
Forgot to mention, if you get your wisodm teeth removed, use wet Rooibos tea bags over the cut/s biting down carefully. You will heal-up twice as fast and it soothes the area. Just don't tear the bag, and if you got stitches also be a little more careful :) and change it often enough obviously.
As a South African I can confirm you are supposed to drink Rooibos without milk. But there is no reason not to add milk :) To me it is the healthiest and best tea in the world. Funny enough we get the tea bag versions here and in South Africa. I suspect the ones not in bags are not grown in South Africa, a case of buyer be aware? Support the original growers instead as that is the original soil for the right taste check the coffee area in shops.
The only problem with adding some milk in any tea or coffee is, that the caseine in milk is avoiding the absortion of the healthy nutritional ingredient, has antioxidant... drink Rooibos or any tea without milk is a lot better, but drinking with milk is ok (haha) its not dangerous
I want to work in a tea shop but there are no good tea shops in colorado springs......that I know of. We all have coffee shops here and I don't drink coffee (or I drink very little).
I mixed Rooibos with White Tea,,,,,,my gosh that was amazing. A very sweet flavor with the rooibos and a young smooth flavor of the White Tea.
I have a few friends that put milk in there rooibos, but I tried that once and I'm not a big fan of that. I really don't like to add anything to any tea, I drink it as the leaves intended it to taste. There are a few teas I add milk to Assam is one of them, it fine either way but I don't mind it with milk.
My dad told me that those two go well together, but I never got around to doing it since our Jasmine Dragon Pearl ran out. :( When you mix them, is it half of each? How would you do that if you're supposed to use 1.5 tsp for a regular whole rooibos and 1 tsp of JDP?

@squirell1952
If you want to critique someone else's English, you should probably brush up on your own.
His english was better than yours.
So no 'PROUCD' for you.

I love Rooibos so much. I always drink it plain, just tea leaves and hot water... the way it was intended (in my opinion at least :-))
I love Jasmine Green Tea, but all teas are really nice and good for you. So keep on drinking everyone!
