  • I remember watching this right after the regular Alf cartoon. I think I liked Alf Tales better than the other Alf cartoon, because it lampooned classic stories like Robin Hood and Sleepy Hollow.

  • I vaguely remember this. I'd love to see if it held up today for nostalgia purposes

  • Wow, never seen this before. Don't think I want to either.

  • I love Alf Tales. It spoofs both a fairy tale and a film genre simultaneously, often with surrealistic results. It is the 80’s version of "Fractured Fairy Tales" with a delicious twist.

  • When I was a kid, I've never gotten to watch this because I endded up watching A Pup Named Scooby Doo and not watching this peed me off really bad.

  • I don't remember this, but then again I was borin in 1983...but I do remember the actual live action show.

  • What the fuck is this shit?

  • I don't know. Why don't YOU tell US!

  • I liked the Animated Series better than ALF Tales

  • Poor Alf!

  • ALF está en caricatura

  • Alf tales and the original animated series was why watched NBC cartoons in the 80's

  • i loved alf tale i rember the alf's version of cinderella where instead of a ball she wanted to go to a concert

  • Alf tales was a truly genious work of art. As a small child me and my brothers watched it, and even today we use quotes from the show when interacting with each other. Same with Darkwing Duck.

  • I remember watching this show as a kid. I wasn't really super into it but looking back at the animation, especially the intro, I'd have to say that's some of the best animation I've seen in a long time. Kinda sucks though when studios outsource to lesser talent to animate their shows, just to save a buck.

  • Yes, the animation was clearly more fluid than most things today.

  • i love alf

  • alf tales, chimpmunk movies, and eak the cat, were almost the same shows, eak was the best though

  • Man, i hated Alf Tales as a kid. The original animated series which featured ALF's family and friends from the planet Melmack was way better. Does anyone have that intro??? I would love to see that again.

  • Alf tales wasn't my favorite either...I watched the original animated ALF series...I too have been looking for that video.

  • True that. I can definitly see that we're on the same page.

  • @flamez34 They were both part of the same show. One half was Gordon's family and friends, the other half was Alf Tales, which was like Fractured Fairy Tales. Both segments were awesome.

  • LOL I used to watch AlfTales way back when....

  • anyone have the intro to the regular alfcartoon show? please post it

  • I second the motion.

"Gordon, send us into outer space!"

  • cause there ain't noone like you in the memackian race...

  • Now, that must be season one where they said "Melmakian" instead of season two wehre they said "Melmagian" and the voice of . . . I'm sorry, I'm such a huge nerd. But I have this on audio tape somewhere if I'm lucky maybe I can convert it and post it.

  • it's all good. I have it on casette tape too! :-) no more tabby paw pie for you before bedtime!!
