I also used to have difficulty leting people in , in school or friendships for years but it all just changed in less than 1 year so i think we just need time. I can't imagine how this feels but i believe when you feel ready you should let people closer to you know about this, they will help you more than anyone of us could. :)

It's harder to be vulnerable and let people see that and to trust them with that side of you. It is really hard.
