  • Although the picture is not so clear, but thanks for sharing it all the same. : )

  • I was suprised that marian anderson was still living at that time. Even when she was singing at the LIncoln Memorial in 1939.

  • This has to be the only time that FOUR American Presidents stood next to each other at an Inauguration ceremony - Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ, Nixon. Incredible.

  • Oath of Office of Vice President of the United States: I, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

  • lbj was apart of the kennedy setup how do u let ur boss get killed n ur own homestate douche!

  • very cool...and um, is it just me or did lyndon johnson say, "...without any mental reservation WHATEVER???" wouldn't surprise me, knowing the way johnson was...

  • @abelincoln1809

I hated Johnson, what a MORON. BTW, if you looked at JFKs policies, he would be a Republican. Teddy Roosevelt was a Republican, however, would be a Democrat during JFKs day. So funny how things change.

BTW, look up the facts and very interesting: Teddy was 42 when President, JFK was 43. Teddy was the youngest US President, cool :-)

  • I could never imagine I would see these scenes one day!!

  • A historic moment!

  • cool
