  • Walmart? Let it burn.

  • hehe

  • Actually the funniest thing about the sirens is when you get to work them lol its quite amazing and im only 16 but im a voulenteer firefighter and ive rode officer to a fire call and you get to use the sirens, radio, and the air horn itts a blast!!! lol

  • What does the end credits say?

  • @NsTrainMan07 >>>---> It says that Engine 11 said they could handle the incident and all others could return. Incidentally, you can click you left mouse button on the text that is scrolling and it will stop it so you can read it.

  • @zaffdoc hahahaha

  • @zaffdoc all trucks smeals or some?

  • 1:17 douchebag driver

  • @800kirby >>>---> I think it might have been a call in to 911 becasuse all the fire apparatus were running hot. An automatic alarm sends onlly the nearest engine hot and the rest cold.

  • i miss those days when i used to go for rides in fire trucks

  • In 1:26 behind the sign, is that a funnel cloud?

  • @AngelaIllinois >>---> It sure looked like one, but it probably was just a funny cloud formation.

  • why did the last one have a siren that sounded more like a police siren then a fire siren...I thought all the different types of emergency vehicles had different sirens...am I wrong?

  • @lvlynel >>---> Most, but not all fire trucks use Federal Q sirens, Most, also have electronic sirens similar to police sirens. Some fire apparatus only have electronic sirens.

  • @lvlynel It depends what your fire department runs. for example my fire department has a relax protocal on sirens responding, vs other departments that if more than on vehicle is responding ambulance engine/ engine, TRUCK-homo's/ Or whatever more than one vehicle you switch to a different siren with the french Q- pardon my french but please get the fuck outta the way...

  • @lvlynel >>>---> That was Truck 7. It has both types of sirens and what is used is decided upon by the driver or captain on board.

  • @lvlynel It just depends on what type of siren is purchased. The sounds differ by manufactur.

  • The one's replying to my comment, read it again since your to slow to understand what I'm saying.

  • nice video!

  • Wait did that Engine just stop and wait for a green light? I'm not saying thats bad, i just have never seen that be for? I have seen coming to complete stop at red and easing through. Just wonder, but nice driver operations to the Engine driver.

Heck I'm overly impressed with their drivers, the ladder at the end even slowed for a green light! I know a few dept's that could learn from them.

    Great job and stay safe

  • @pcfd20 Where?

  • @zaffdoc I think he means means at :56.

  • @zaffdoc From about 50 seconds... But I think he was just checking the intersection for traffic, and then the light turned green... IDK.

  • @pcfd20

Just blasting through an intersection is a horrible idea and bad practice!

  • @pcfd20 No he didn't, if you look at it closer you can see he had to stop because the car ahead of him at the stop light couldn't get over fast enough. Looked like the car was trying to get over but just couldn't in time

  • 1. How do you know they're going to Walmart? You don't.

    2. Three firetrucks? Whats is this? Chernobyl?

    3. Why do they have 5000 lights on? During Daylight!

  • @vkohmoviemaker 1. My Fire Dept. Radio told me. 2. Actually it is 8 fire apparatus responding. It is the standard response for a commercial structure in order to maintain a Class 1 Fire Department. 3. In case it suddenly gets dark.

  • @zaffdoc Suddenly gets dark? ahahahaha xD then they just put on their lights on when it gets dark ..

  • @vkohmoviemaker NO.... In case it gets dark. You must anticipate all possible scenarios when you are in the business of saving lives and property. If it is dark, but light they would still have the lights on, or if it half dark or half light then they would already have them on. But at no time will they have them off since they are also used as warning lights, except if they are on a cold response or returning to quarters unless it was dark then they would have all 5000 lights on.

  • @vkohmoviemaker all emergency aparatuse need emergency llights it can be the sunniest day out and they have to have lights on u can respond to a call without lights on and wail on sirens expecting people to move or hear you from a far distance plus if you run a red light with out lights on and cause a accident its your fault

  • @vkohmoviemaker It's protocall for all depts in the country to respond with lights and sirens because i have been going to calls full Q lights and everything and Dumb fucks still dont pull over.

  • @vkohmoviemaker if your house was on fire be sure to tell the 911 call center that you only want one fire truck and that they shouldnt use thier lights or siren because its during the day.

  • @vkohmoviemaker Some-one needs to calm down there. In my county there is 19 station's, 3 in the township my company is in. If you put all 3 department's rig's together it will equal, 3 engine's, 3 tanker's, 4 special unit's, 1 air unit, and a brush truck. Wal-Mart is in one of my companies boxes, we have 3 engine's, 3 tanker's, 1 truck, and 1 quint we are always on scene first and ALWAYS place every one else available cause we never need them. Use your head the dear lod gave you.

  • @vkohmoviemaker

Because in most area's you have to have all your lights on while responding. It's an insurance and public safety issue!

  • @vkohmoviemaker the reason why they got 5000 lights its because that when resoponding code 3 to an emergency fedreal law requires them to run them

  • @vkohmoviemaker no matter what the call day light or not u go with all lights unless resopending cold or with the flow

  • That white car in front of Engine-7 pissed me off. Hey Doc- I had to take my dad some food today at station 9 and a call came in and I got to see the S.P.R.I.N.T. Car respond. It was pretty badass.

  • @silenceisaweapon101 Always carry your camcorder with you. All the new Sprint cars should be in service pretty soon. Your dad will be getting a new one.

  • @zaffdoc I know man, and I'm excited. I have my ride along papers, but my dad is new to A shift and doesnt know the crew too well there, and he doesn't want me up there because he says one of the head honchos is kind of a prick. LOL But when I DO get to ride the SPRINT Car, you'll be the first one to know. Deal?

  • shouldve got a pierce lol....... were i live in west virginia they was remodeling wal mart and in April we had like 20 alarm investigations there and only one turned out to be anything it was just a dumpster tht caught on fire out side

  • how do you know where they are responding

  • @TCTOWGUY I am clairvoyant

  • @gunner18ful the second engine was engine 7, and the first was engine 11

  • taken on my brother's birthday! nice job zaffdoc!

this definitely get's a thumbs up.

  • That quality gladiator looks good! very attractive looking engine

  • wait a second the first two trucks are the same truck, they both have 11 on the side! or is that the station number?

  • shit always happens at Wal-Mart

  • good vid

  • i think its funny cause all they have to say on the phone is walmart and everyone knows where it is

  • Dumb ass in the white crown vic MOVE THE HELL OUTTA MY WAY!!!

    Great Q action though!

  • dude engine 11 is pro in this movie

  • Q Siren translated to english:

    OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY!!

  • I'm sorry but what is the Q siren, is the honking kinda noise?

  • @m5dinan the Q is the rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr siren you hear on most fire trucks. its the round shiny thing on the bumper

  • @GTARotator

    The Q is sexy shit!

  • @GTARotator that's a train horn, the Q just means MOVE! the air horn means STOP DICKING AROUND!

the electronic says: OOH, HEY! GAWK AT ME!

  • Amazing Q at :44....nice vid as always doc!!

  • Responding to Wal-Mart?

First on scene has to clear those 5-10 cars parked in Wal-Mart Fire Lane. (Because their husband or wife or whoever "just ran in for a minute").

  • @larrywanders

Absolutely! Every run we make to Walmart is like that. Really pisses ya off!

  • @larrywanders Oh god if i was first on location I would be royaly fucking pissed

  • @larrywanders think god for u brother i have responded to my local walmart and they do the same thing i hate it they could cost me 1 minute which could cost someone else their life please at least just sit in front of the doors not the fire lane thanks

  • every time my dad has a call he will come pick me up in his chiefs truck and he allows me to sound the sirens n stuff when he goes on a call

  • my dad was a fire chief

  • Yes! SWEEEET!!!! What a rush. I want to be riding along with them!!!! Beauty vid as always Doc. I have been so busy in the last few months that I have missed quite a few vids but it's Friday and I am chilling. Literally. LOL :)

  • Doc, when are you gonna add a pictures of new Ladder 7 on your website?

  • Once again Doc... Nice vid as usual! Engine 7 sounded sooo bad a!

  • nice

  • well my city just got a new pierce 105" ladder

  • very good camera work that was exciting

  • at 1:15 is that a pierce?

  • No, that is a 1998 Quality Gladiator.

  • Pierce Stinks! One of the dept in my county bought a brand new rescue/pumper and a tanker this year! They keep breaking down alot!

  • OK cuz in the city i live in that would be a three alarm

  • That's cool. Saves a lot on fuel cost.

  • how many alarms was that

  • It was a 1 alarm fire in a commecial building. On reported fires in buildings, schools, nurseries, hospitals, etc. here they send 4 engines, 2 ladder trucks, a rescue unit, a medic unit, and 2 battalion chiefs.

  • awesome vid man ! ! keep them coming ****

  • nice camera

  • Terrific footage doc !

    Thank you for posting .

  • is that the new ladder? great vid, keep em coming

  • WHAT HAPPENED AT WALMART?

  • why do cars speed up instead of pull over!! i hate that

  • king, it`s just one of those things we deal with every day

  • Was that the new Truck 7? As always great videos Doc. Thank you.

  • Yes. Thanks for the compliment.

  • Hey Rtzee, did you know about Engine 11 having a head-on collision a few months ago? No one was seriously injured, but they had it in the shop for a long time re-doing the cab. It sounds like they got a new airhorn or the shop re-tuned it. All the SFD rigs now have the new door emblem and a new Class I sticker.

  • great video

  • Hey random question Doc, approximately what percentage of Shreveport FB is volunteers as opposed to full time fireys?

Also, what's the law in the US regarding using siren and air horn to move traffic that's built up at traffic lights or intersections? In Australia, we can't force any other vehicle to break the law (ie. run a red light) even if we're running hot and there's no other way through.

Great vid, love that Ferrara ladder :)

  • Shreveport is a fully paid Class I fire department with 625 members. I do not know of any law here that states a fire apparatus can not force traffic to move through a traffic light while responding to an emergency. There coule be, but I do not know of any. We kind of like the Ferrara ladder also. Thanks for the compliment on the vid.

  • awesome video i love those new Ferraras

  • Good use of the Q!

  • Any video either old or new of trucks responding is awsome.

  • heh. Doc, I think a new digital video recorder is a needed update. It looks like this was taped in the 90's :D

  • as usual wonderful video love it keep up the great work

  • I love that sound.

  • Great video Doc. And to 301 Whitehall, what's the diff? They had to clear traffic didn't they? And they didn't know the extent of the fire until they got there.

  • Nice new rigs....who is the manufacturer?

  • 1st engine was 1998 Quality, 2nd was a 2004 Ferrara Inferno, and the hook & ladder is a 2009 Ferrara 109' aerial.

  • no wht would be cool if the light in the grill of the ferras would be led n have different patterens

  • Truthfully I think they shoulda took it easy on the Q, air horn, and wail. its only wires on fire! We had a possible house fire and we barely ran Q

    lol

  • but the q and air horn are FUN!!!!!!!!!!

  • everyone, and every dept is different. a fire is a fire, and a firefighters job is to prevent the loss of life, and property. there was every reason on overkill the Q and air horn.

  • Was it just me or did the Ferrara Engine have extremely weak sounding air horns compared to the previous engine that passed by???

  • i think a new digital vid cam is a good update for ya doc. it looks like its from the 90's. ;P lol

  • hehe. ill cover the shipping :P
