Why can't any of these songs be released anywhere? They are as lost a the dead sea scrolls were!!! They were extremely popular and now they are just fading out of society. Thank goodness some people still have recordings and are posting these songs. I love all the songs in the movie "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" and I am very disappointed when I am unable to find ANY of the songs almost ANYWHERE. Thank you for posting this!

Very true...my nephews are 11 and 15 and they sing along to these songs today and have no idea what their meaning is. Come to think of it their parents don't know the meaning either. It's funny because this movie happened to be on this weekend and I caught the last 10 minutes with the dance off. Well my sister and I were singing along like we were kids again and my nephews I just mentioned looked at us like we were ancient. It answered my question I posted...I guess I am old!
