0 dislikes... Right number!!! Saw George Thoroughgood in concert and he said we got two kinds of music in America... Blues!!.... And that SHIT they play on MTV!!! Man was right on....
@SixtyThreeStrat Too bad Thoruoghgood never learned how to play the blues. His main claim to fame is turning up louder than anyone else (including SRV) to drown them out.
I have lost an uncle yesterday and I feel quite sad. I came up to this song and I have found it applicable or appropriate to what I'm feeling right now. This is the great dignity of the blues.
The way he takes his own damn time to bend the note up, hitting a million grace notes in between, then that unique vibrato at the top of the bend. Once heard never forgotten. His playing has a vocal quality quality, like a gospel singer. Then there's his own singing voice...
One of my all time favorites. This song just shows how good Otis was... Amazing performance!
