omg but i loved your tvd videos! especially the one with all the cast you did to wild and young, the jenna and damon one and the jenna and alaric one. so sad. I hate yt honestly. I mean we aren't doing any harm to anyone by using the songs. If anything we are making them MORE popular. People tend to want to find songs from videos that they like. ugh
Oh that sucks I think pretty much all us vidders go through this -- what I do is pitch it to 4 points, and I rarely get anything except like once in a rare while now "matched third party content" but that's about it.
If you pitch a song that was blocked and it's 3rd partied after you WILL win the dispute 99% of the time. The thing is pitching does work and usually the wrong music entity will come forward to claim it because the pitch is different...so when you dispute it and they check to see if it's their content, it's not and they have to lift their claim. But make sure you pitch at least 2 shifts. Good luck. :)
@ImNaturallySuper Oh yeah? I'm always scared to dispute because I'm afraid they'll find my page and delete it because of all of the infringement. But I might try it in the future. And I always pitch it 3 shifts. :)
@xHAPpyProductionsx Haha they def don't have time to check your channel, millions of accounts, thousands of disputes a day...don't worry they only check the video, and they only do so AFTER a dispute, so how can they know that they put a claim on the wrong materials if you don't show them? :) Only artists I wouldn't advice disputing would be Britney Spears or Madonna or people that have HUGE followings.

Pitching makes the 'blocked worldwide' shit from happening, but 95% of the time the song is still 'marked as blahblah' and that counts as an ID match and soo many of my videos were like that, I had to delete them or my account would have a better chance of getting sacked. -le sigh- Ah well. I wish there was a secret internet where this didn't happen.
