True, he did vote for the patriot act, plus he did vote for the Iraq war. However, much to Bob Barr's credit, he was man enough to admit his wrong doing which is something seldom if ever seen amongst politicians today. Yeah, I totally agree. I'm glad I decided to take another look at Bob Barr.  I'm not even really voting for Bob Barr based on him as a candidate as much as I am voting in support of the Libertarian platform as a whole. Basically, Hell will freeze over before I ever consider voting for McCain so the Libertarian Party has my vote! I think America should return to the Libertarian views it was founded upon, its amazing how some consider the idea of an America that is actually free to be crazy.

Bob Barr voted for the Department of Homeland Security, the war, and the Patriot ACT. How does that make him different from Obama or Hiliary when they say they've changed? The Patriot Act was specically written for U.S. Citizens. You can NOT make a mistake like that. Plus, it is suspicious that this guy has gotten more media attention, than Ron Paul ever did! As a libertarian, I don't want Barr running for the ticket. Half of his votes as congressman went against what libertarians stand for. He may be changing his tune now, but he's about as 'libertarian' as Bill Frist. They have very similar voting records.
