I love your accent! Kompong Thom is a province and (I think) the capital city is Kompong Thom also. I was there last year to visit my uncle in one of the villages in Kompong Thom Province, and we stop by Kompong Thom city for some ivy... my dad had severe food poisoning... btw thanks for sharing..

I've heard the Khmer language spoken with an American southern accent, with a French accent, an English accent, and a German accent, but never with an Australian accent. It's quite pleasant, actually. It sounds a lot better than Khmer spoken with a southern accent, trust me!

Good job posting the video and sharing. You should be very proud of yourself for still being able to connect to your Khmer side. Nowadays, alot of over-sea Khmers is forgetting who they are and its quite disappointing to me. I am young like you, but I've come to realize that it is best to stay in touch with my culture. It is who we are and we should never lose it. Keep it up, make sure u keep learning and don't ever forget and pass it on to your kids. You have a beautiful name by the way.
