Garland was sophisticated?? Judy was always the "girl next door" the little girl from Kansas. What is Hutton talking about? I have heard that when Hutton got word that Judy was being over-worked and couldn't continue, she (Hutton) campaigned for the part of Annie by telling everyone Judy wasn't up to it. This gal may have had a hard life and I'm sure many people are weeping as they watch her rememeber the bad times, Hutton could also be a conniveing, self-serving bitch. Look it up people.

Somebody with the energy of a Betty Hutton was bound to burn themselves out. Nobody can maintain that kind of pace for too long without burning out. Too bad she always felt the need to have to match her former self when she got older. She doesn't seem that pleased to be doing this interview. Thanks for posting
