...followed the route that achieves most popularity, for example talking about women as if they are sex symbols. I don't mean to turn this into a debate, I'm just responding to some of the outrageous comments that need to addressed. Bottom line is: Outlandish are one of those artists who will be remembered for who they are, not only the tunes they produce. They are amazing. God Bless, Peace out.
Look, I don't get why some people are getting so pernickety. Try and look at it from a different perspective: For them it might not be about politics, but basic humanity. Yes, I agree that war is political, but sympathising with the suffering of people is a basic human aspect. I certainly don't agree with what some people are saying about Outlandish, that they are all about keeping their audience. That is completely absurd. If they were, then they could have...(see next post)
since one of them saying that it was not about children´s lives in Palestina, they dimmed the grieves and sufferings of the Palestinians in their own homeland... malcolm x said if you don´t stand for something you will fall for anything... so please not being grey....
It IS about politics, and religion .. Seriously, don't you have ears?
I'm not saying it's because they want to be famous, I don't know (I don't think so, but I don't know) .. I'm just saying that you're pretty stupid if you say it's not about politics.
i agree. and i definitely get why they say it's NOT about politics and religion: they wanna keep their audience and be free from the labels of a "terroristic band".. sad that they're ready to refuse from their ideas just for the sake of remaining popular after such interviews.
Actually not anymore. They're not as much religious as you think they are ( certainly not like Sami Yusef). Isam and Waqas both released their own albums and they're all normal in Danish. Their latest album is very toned down in politics and religion. Not because of the image, read the story of the latest album in wikipedia.
Not that its good or bad, but they're songs were difference than any Islamic songs out there and they did appeal alot to many none-Muslim people.
that was insanely rude what they did to waqas at the end -_- clearly not their best interview

Not sure I enjoyed this interview. I know Outlandish are more intelligent than this so I'll put it down to lazy and lame editing on part of the AP
