Yes it looked good, no denying, and it was good. Just I didn't like it. I don't like Veronica or Outbreak either, I liked the original 3 that where about Umbrella Corp. Five was ok, i sort of enjoyed it for the story (Sometimes) and the look of the game. It was brilliant, it was a copy and paste of Four but it had a better lot this time round. Plus Chris > Leon.
@Tofarwaway four blows five out of the water the only thing missing is multiplayer mercenaries. five is not bad dont get me wrong but your opinion of four is stupid

No it's not the gameplay if I'm honest. it FEELS to easy. Leon & Chris can easily avoid and kill the zombies, that it doesn't feel scary AT ALL!
In the first three you had to work of so little ammo and one zombie was a task, lots was damn hard. In 4 & 5 when I see one, two, three, or any number up to ten i feel safe and don't worry. Even when there is more it's still easy. Plus there is that all horror killing feature in the 5th one...co-op ¬_¬ It just isnt Resident Evil anymore.

To be honest this is how i see it. the first three they where just exposed to the Zombies and when the Survivors learned more about the zombies they where more prepared for the zombies even when Wesker and Saddler made them more of drones then traditional zombies its just Developement in the plot. You are intitled to you're opinion though. Jw have you played it on Professional?
...great work man!...you're right, I also hated RE4...for me the last TRUE Resident Evil we had was Code Veronica...it seems that RE5 is following the path of RE4 also, but I believe I'm gonna like this one...more over that our loved old RE gameplay had been taken from us, RE5 is taken again the way to the original storyline, while in other hand RE4 had nothing to do with it (every old RE fan knows what I'm talking about)...also, Chris is THE MAN in the RE world! I'm glad he is back once again!
I don't think Jill is dead. I do believe she is the masked woman seen in my video and others. It isn't confirmed that the masked person is working with Wesker, Jill could be fighting Chris and Sheva simply to throw off suspicision of Wesker thinking she is Jill. I believe she is working with the man who turns into the large globish/tenticle monster shown in the TGS trailer, but is secretly undermining his work and saving Chris in the shadows.

Disagree--the first three REs were the easy ones. Seriously, after three hours of running back and forth corridors to deposit items in chests, you eventually memorize where the zombies are. I suppose the tank controls and camera angles made them "hard", but I chalk it up more to outdated gameplay (which really shouldn't even be existing by the time we got to 128-bit systems) than any kind of intended difficulty.
...no way, I agree with the rest, RE4 was the easiest one we had in RE storyline, even maybe being more "enjoyable" to play, it was easy also, the new camera does everything for you, the old Residents were harder and a better challenge...
Like I said, to each his own. And it's still more "outdated" than actual programmer-coded gameplay "challenge" to me, and a lot of people. That's why there had to be a radical overhaul of the series in the first place. But at least you can get the tank controls and fixed camera you prefer in the "Outbreak" series.
both 4 and 5 are ace i cant wait for 6!!! but i hope it goes back to olden RE like 1,2,3 those wher the days!!

The first 3 where better, and they followed the area gameplay system where you would get corned and watch from afar as you where devoured.
In 4 it was just too easy. Leon was overpowered. 5 will likely be the same but the locaiton and gameplay look far better.
