  • @TheJessketch thank you so much. :-) checking out your work now...

  • cuando el arte se revele..solo quedara en pie la consciencia de los elegidos..

  • WONDERFUL ARTIST

  • @BulleOtub thank you!

  • this is cool D: \\m//

  • looks like an underpass i saw the other day

  • This piece is amazing! Thankfully i get to look at it every day, it's in my home! CandyAcidReign is an amazing artist!

  • @TheSpotwithParadyme Thank you Amanda... so happy to have you as a owner of my art. You're a gem.

  • As for Mr. Acey, I’ve enjoyed his work since the first audio I heard a few years or so back. I think he is real and relatable. Relevant. I even like the timbre in his performance voice. He does this thing with some of his words, running them together. Though not something new, it won’t get old when “he” does it. He was a good choice to work with, and you were for him as well. I’d like to see and hear more from both of you. Good stuff! *thumbs up*

  • @csr11972 indeed. His spoken word style is captivating.. and funny you should mention others sounding like him. Taalam came first and been doing this for a long time. Many mimick but they are not authentic. I know the feeling since I'm often mimicked as well.

  • Beautiful work as usual, Sis. We can talk about my other points of view later.

  • As usual, I interpret this a few ways. I’ll just share one or two points of view for now: I like the road in the piece. To me, that along with the title and the images on canvas, speak of time spent and lost with those involved. By force, be the reason good or bad. And maybe the road is one of redemption. Maybe a road leading back to “Happy” again for those involved. Perhaps a journey of one...from years before, leading to now. Either way it goes, “Good” waited at the end of it.

  • @csr11972 hey sis. You're perception of this piece is precise and on point. Thank you for not only watching, but taking the time out to understand it's meaning, and leave more than adequate commentary. I appreciate it & you.

  • great work

  • @ALYGUTTAMANE Thank you

  • Brilliant. You have taken it to the next level! I felt so immersed in the story watching it build and unfold before me on the canvas. I found myself changing as the picture changed. I don't know why I felt like I saw so many people in different places at different times. And the music... brilliant! How much?

  • @darkram411 Thank you love... for sharing how you felt while watching the video; it allowed me to share in the experience with you and enlightened me on a different perception. Taalam has several cd's and he just released a new one. In the more info section you can find a link to his online store. It's very affordable... I own some.

  • so amazing!!

  • @sharonspaintings Thank you Sharon!

  • @TheRestlesswind Thank you! I'm working on a new one right now. Stay tuned. :)

  • @TheRestlesswind - That's right! This piece is a phenomenal work from her heart and soul that just speaks volumes of genius.

  • This is just absolutely beautiful. A true work of art with some nice spoken word as you work.

    Just amazing!

  • @JazzyZenBrotha That's Love! Thank you Jazzy Zen Brotha!

  • I have come to see your beautiful work and your lastest video. If being a talented artist was gold, you will be the richest person in the land. I really like your style!!

  • @Broaart Thank you! good to see you here! I'm rich in other ways. :)

  • Everything you do is a manifestation of love - even if its wrapped in pain and scarred with history. No one can do what you do, few qualify to understand it, and even less can engage you on your level. You're art is beyond category and beyond description and your gift has no limits. This was an exciting collaboration - however you know you stole the show :) Taalam Acey is a magnificent spoken word artist, as you are as well. I think this may be your best work to date Ladessa. You are outstanding

  • @KurtisWatkins wow Kurtis... I'm still speechless. I read your comment when you posted it and I still can't fix my thoughts to reply adequately. I'm just thankful that I have your kinship and you have mine. Thank you so much for everything. You are outstanding.

  • Amazing! I love it

  • @GiftedAngel81 :-) wonderful... Thank you!

    HAH!

    Love every aspect!

Nice to see you back up and posting...I'll get there too at some point. I just need a studio and a love stick :P

  • @AmandaDelight LOL! Those words... I'm not sure who they're about, but they resonate with us artist chicks. I specifically chose that poem because of that. :D So glad you saw this manda & dig it! Love you to death! ...and I can't wait till you get a studio &... whatever else you need! lol. xo

  • VERY BEAUITFUL 2THESUN SEND ME' RASTA RA'

  • @bearr7 Thank you!

  • WoW....I just love this video . This is a masterpiece...

  • @nvictoria100 Thank you! ;)

  • This was great been a while and glad to see you doing your thing again. The spoken word soundtrack to this was great as well. As always I like your work here and the eyes tell a great story. This painting just strikes a feeling or nerve in a good way, much respect to you and your work. Yeah definitely can feel this one. Thanks for sharing.

  • @Dnygmatic It's odd because I kept saying "i'm baaack" as if i was ever really gone much. lol. In truth my last video was 3-4 months ago and when I wasn't making time lapse painting video's I was web designing, selling and shipping art and a bunch of other creative things such as photography etc. Plus dealing with life... yet still it felt like I was away too long. :) Thank you for dropping by and checking out this painting, and for the compliments. Means A LOT.

  • wow!amazing my friend, love hoe it all came together...

  • @candisweetart Thank you!

  • Ladessa,

I am happy to see you posting videos again! Beautiful and powerful as always!

    -Merrill :)

  • @kazanjianm Thank you Merrill! Happy to be back. 2010 was a very hectic and busy year thus far, but I'm back at it. :)

  • Dessa, this is inccredible! Watched it twice and I'm blown away. You really worked hard at this, despite the pain. An insomniac whose works speak to me. Imagery is off the hook, you pick very fitting pallettes & hues. I'm impressed every time. Taalam's words seem to narrate what your brush speaks onto canvas. You kilt it my friend!

Until today, Obstruction was my fav artwork by you. This one has worked its way up to a tie.

  • @akiey5 Hey heyyyy there akiey! Thank you! I'm so happy you love it enough to make it a tie with "Obstruction"! I know how much you love that piece. :-D Yeah, I put in more days painting this than I usually do. 10 insomniac body pain filled nights. lol. Mostly because this marks the beginning of a new collection and also a new era for me and my art. Some of my work thus far has been like practice for what I already had inside of me that I was waiting to release in due.

  • !!! i, for one of many, was waiting... i, as a hidden floating atom, sat at the edge of my proverbial seat... i, such as the masses, sit in awe... i have a visual, and an audio, and a mesmerizing ten+ minutes... i, as in everyone, is amazed !!! ~~~f'n brilliant, strong, beautiful, beyond~~~

  • @drewzhear9 awwe... wow.. Thank you Drew! Beautiful poetic comment! Thank you so much for anticipating and for your steadfast support. You are so appreciated.

  • I love how you put this video together...I can feel it...I can see it...I can hear it! (Bravo!)

  • @Sahbisun Thank you! Hope you enjoyed my painting and taalam's spoken word. It's great to know I presented it well in your eyes. Peace.

  • @Sahbisun and thank you for featuring this video on your channel! Tremendous.

  • i'm speechless. this home. i am digging the colab very heavy. oh what i am saying can't even express how i feel about this. i love it.

  • @sultrydoll Heyyyy sistren! I'm finally back and at it!!! So good to see you on here, and so good to read you "love it". Thank you for feelin' me. I put a bit more time into this piece. There is so much more to come, and there will be no regression! Much love! If you find the words... return because I want to read them.

  • All I can say is WOW.Once again you leave me speechless. Your work is so ahead of its time. The Spoken word was PERFECT for this piece. I will be checking Mr. Acey out as well. Keep up the amazing work momma! GOSH I LOVE IT!

  • @NeeColofTX Awwe.. Thank you! Love Love! I hope you share it with your people, and help me spread my work. Oh and do check out Taalam... he's one the most noted poets. :) I'm humbled by your kindness. Got me smiling over here! Peace!

  • Oh My Goodness! THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! The poet Taalam Acey was an excellent collab. for your work! I love the "road" featured in the painting! Really capturing the essence of past and future for me! This hits home for me! I see my life in this painting! BEAUTIFUL WORK CANDYACIDREIGN! This is Larger than words can ever express! Some how you just keep getting better and the work before is Genius so you know this is History to me! Like seriously, I'm not just saying that. Love u! Amazing!
